These people are not reasonable, about three weeks ago, i booked 3 lessons and paid $180 ($60/lesson), was scheduled to start my lesson on Monday, they called me on sunday to confirm about the lesson, An hour later my fiance was involved in an accident so i had to travel to washington to be with her... I sent them a msg to cancel all my lesson for that week... I came back to NY and went to Totally cool Driving School to schedule for lessons. To my suprise they told me i only had 2 lessons left they had charged me for 1 lesson ($60), I told the lady i had an emergency she insisted on charging me $60 for cancelling... I have a lot on mind and i dont have the energy to argue, i asked for a refund, the gave me $120 from the $180 i paid. Im sure they are good pipo i jst had a bad exprience with them Read Less

I came too this place too get my license I did 9 lessons with them and fail two times with them already my instructor told me am Doug fine every time I practice but I keep failing I ask yr too take an individual package too just rent the car and pay for the road test but there keep telling me I also need too pay for one lesson and I just wanted too pay for the car and road test they won’t allow me to do that it’s like am paying too fail not happy at all . Teresa is The best driving instructor. Hands down. The packages are very reasonable & “totally” affordable. If you feel like you’re not the best driver, ask for Teresa. She’ll guide you through all the steps you need to pass your road test. Other staff members there, especially Lisa was very helpful with any concerns and can answer all questions. I already knew how to drive I really went to the school for 2 things the deal & to actually learn the right way to do things on the road test. I love this school they work with your schedule for the lessons & when I requested a specific driver they went all out of their way to make sure he was the one with me.  After 4 lessons even though I was nervous I was also ready for my road test and I passed !      P.s ask for faruq he's a great driver instructor !! Came here for the 5 hour course. Now no one wants to sit in a class for 5 hours but the instructor was great he also cracks a lot of jokes so it makes the 5 hours feel like nothing. The customer service was excellent no problems at all very nice receptionist. Will be coming back soon for driving lesson! 5 hours course is only $30.00 compared to other people trying to charge $40- 55. Read Less

UPDATE!! So I failed my test, but it wasnt the school fault. I tried to parallel park closer to curb and bam I hit it. Automatically failed. Theresa is a great instructor. Im sure If I didnt hit the curb I would have passed with 20 points for at least parking far from curb. Dont be an idiot like me trying to perfect everything. BTW on my last review I said about jet driving school. After taking 3 lessons with the instructor who seem like she owns that place, I cancelled. Instructor super strict with super old car that will not work with new drivers like us. I recommend Totally Cool Driving School anytime. My next road test is on June with same school . So my instructor is Teresa. Yes I have read all the reviews. Yes she is lesbian. No she does not flirt like someone else said. She has some instances like make stuff sound flirty and when laughing she would have some funny gestures, but thats it. People only get distracted and uncomfortable when a person with different sexual preferences do it. Just pay attention to your driving. Your not there to feel other thing than driving. Btw Im a 100% straight. I just think if a person cannot learn with a lesbian  instructor ask not to have her. If your only feeling uncomfortable, You wont learn anything. So yeah I have taken 8 classes and just missing 2 of them. Teresa does be on her phone alot, but she will teach you good things. So Im close to my road test so I decided to book with Jet driving school for the next two weeks. Im so glad I did for my last two weeks because I have so much to learn. And its true Teresa never helped me have wheel control. No teaching that I have to move to different sides whenever Im turning. She hasnt help with many stuff. Ill say one cool thing about this school. Is that they have new cars. You can take their car to the road test with no doubt, but jet driving school still have old cars. So they are amazing to practice and brush up, but not to take on road test. At the end this is a great school just dont stick only with one because others have many stuff to teach ya. My instructor was Teresa and she was awesome in helping me perfect everything related to the road test, whether it be parallel parking, or u turns (after 4 lessons, I passed on my first try). I definitely recommend her to all students trying to practice and perfect their driving in preparation for a road test. I took six lessons along with the 5hr class. You only get one instructor at this school (unlike Ena's Driving school, that gives 3+ instructors to one student) for all your lessons. My instructor was Teresa, she helped me to improve on the areas that I was a bit rusty in. Our lessons were very calm, and she's a pretty laid-back person. (After a few lessons she told me if I was ready or needed more practice.) I did my test and passed on the first try, so this school is definitely worth attending. Read Less

Beginner's driving is very daunting but having patient instructors like those at Totally Cool sure does help. Their prices were very competitive in comparison to other schools. I also loved the fact they didn't nickel and dime me, and that I could go on a payment plan. I was nervous that I wasn't ready for the road test but they were honest and assured me that I was. It's been a couple of years since I've gotten my license and I still use their parallel parking technique. Read Less
