I don't usually write reviews, but me, my brother and my sister all took lessons from here, and passed our test on first try. Very friendly and helpful.

I had a great experience learning to drive with bright driving school. Prior to this I had zero driving experience and was really nervous. My instructor Alam was really reassuring and patient. If you live in the area he will pick you up for your lessons and always on time. I passed the road test after about 8 lessons which are super affordable at $30 for 45 mins. Read Less

the best driving instructor serving the wide desi community of Jackson Heights and surrounding areas. Dont be fooled by other schools, they may offer a bit cheaper but thats exactly their problem, they are CHEAP/SUck. I went to another driving school and ended up failing on my first road test, "lesson" learned. My other friends who passed on their first road test were ALL telling me to take full lessons from Bright Driving School, even telling me that he has the highest student pass rate compared to all the other driving schools but I opted for another local budget driving school. BIG MISTAKE. Not only did I feel I was not getting my moneys worth, most of lessons were spent with poor and unclear instructions with little actual driving time, and then being scolded for not following directions...(...YEAH b/c MAYBE I can't understand you/and maybe your telling me incoherent and conflicting instructions?!?!)) no wonder I didnt feel confident, failed the test and lost $.Anyhow, on "BRIGHT" side of things, Bright Driving school's instructor (forgot his name but he is the mature Bengali dude) was a waaay better experience. He was very patient and pleasant, especially because I was still nervous first driver. He took care of everything and has connections to get you started up with first time car insurance* + He setup the entire process INCLUDING SETTING UP THE ACTUAL ROAD TEST appointment with the city where the other school DID NOT DO JACK SQUAT and left me hanging and I had to pay for using their car. Bright driving school took care of this by having the car and appointment already setup. Further, he gave me clear, understandable, and straight forward lessons, despite his accent, and even picked me up for lessons. Overall, had a good experience, should have listened to my friends in the first place, take him if you live around that Queens area, trust me, you can't go wrong. Read Less

I just passed road test, thanks to Bright Driving School! Excellent instructor, ask specifically for "Alam," he is such a humble dude, locals say he has the highest student pass rate and caters to English, but mainly ethnic Hindi, Bengali, Urdu speakers. If you are like me, nervous and never drove in your life, take the full package deal to get extra lessons but locals say other deals are offered as well. Great experience, wont regret it. Read Less
