I've been to several driving schools and I have not passed a single road rest. I was recommended by a friend to take a few classes here and it was the best decision I ever made. I was assured I would have a license in my hand by the end of the month and I sure do. Lovely people working here, they really make you feel comfortable. Great package prices and flexable scheduling. Called him he told me he'd call back in 30 min... called him again, said he'd call me back soon. He never did, in not supposed to be chasing you... you're the Instructer therefor I'm paying you to teach me. Anyways, I found someone better and who booked on the spot. Read Less

Kumar is a really nice instructor!! He really made me feeling conformable behind the wheel. At 20 years of age,  I had never driven once! He showed me exactly what I needed to do, and I felt confident. However the one down fall was that I failed my first attempt at taking the road test, only due to the fact that he DID not, teach me how to correct my parking, for example if I over turned or would hit the curb  I had no idea how to correct the error, ( which is why I failed my exam)... I took 14 lessons with him and NOT one time did I have an issue parking because he always "helped"me. His parallel parking method is also kind of strange, after comparing with a different driving school. Given the information I have collected, I would say you have a good  50/50% shot of passing the road test the first time you take it.( he always picks a really nice location to be tested, but If he doesn't teach his students how to correct parking errors, or how generally how to think like an experienced driver, nothing good will come from this)  I know plenty of students who failed and plenty who passed the first time as well. Over all I would recommend Kumar as your starter instructor, and I would test with a different school or at least! take 1 lesson with a different school to see what trips and tricks they can offer you that kumar has not. I decided to give this driving school a try based on the 5 star review one of the reviewers left. I called Kumar's cell phone and he sounded very professional. I asked him my questions and he answered clearly. I told him I was going to call him back in a few days to schedule everything. He said okay. A few days later, I give him a call to enroll and schedule the lessons. He quickly said that he was busy and couldn't do it right now and that he "promises" to call back in 30 mins. He never called back. A couple of days later I called him again to schedule the road lessons and once again, he said he was busy, he didn't have his schedule book on him and to give him a call back in 30 mins. I called him an hour later THREE times and he never picked up one of those calls. And he never called me back either. How rude and unprofessional! If you didn't want to teach me to begin with, why not just let me know? Why have a driving school if you're going to turn away interested students? Apparently Kumar is the owner of the school. Very disappointed with the driving school. My daughter took 10 lessons and barely knew the basics of driving. I felt totally cheated and money wasted. And ofcourse she failed on basics during her driving test. I would not recommend this driving school to anyone unless you want to waste your money. Please look for a school that teach basics like how to look out for traffic on a stop sign, which side of the road to drive and etc. Read Less

Recently I began taking classes from Kumar at 1-Stop Driving school in Bellerose. Kumar and his staff were very friendly and professional. I explained my situation and they were very accommodating. Kumar made sure to work around my schedule which made the experience even more pleasant. He is a great tutor, he identified the areas that I needed help with, focused on them and gave me quick and effective tips to improve my driving. Needless to say I was able to pass my driving test in one try. My road test instructor did not have any negative comments about my driving. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who is trying to pass their driving test. I couldn't have had a better experience. Read Less
