Ruben is an excellent driving instructor and I highly recommend him. He is very patient and friendly. He will teach you not only how to pass the road test, but also how to become a good driver in any situation. I was very scared about parallel parking because everyone always talks about how difficult it can be, but with Ruben’s instructions I learned how to parallel park right away! Couldn't ask for a more professional, patient and helpful instructor. Took a 7 class package and I passed my road test this week! You'd think parallel parking and 3 point turns are difficult things to learn until you're taught by Ruben who makes it so easy and simple to learn. I had absolutely no prior driving experience and in just 10 classes with Ruben I was able to learn how to drive and and passed my road test today. He knows exactly what he is doing and really tries to stimulate the road test experience as much as possible by telling you what is expected of you or what they might tell you. Driving with Ruben was my first experience behind the wheel of a car and truthfully, I didn't think I could pass. I'd signed up for 10 lessons but I didn't know anyone else with a car that I could practice with so I was not really confident going into it. Fortunately, Ruben was patient and well-informed about what they would test me on. During our first lesson he walked me through the basics: what should be visible in the mirrors, how to signal (and embarrassingly, helping me differentiate the gas from the brakes). That same day Ruben trusted me behind the wheel and we were off. I appreciated that although he is friendly, he is also very professional. The closer we got to the road test date, the more Ruben drilled me on the details and helped me practice my driving weaknesses. Today I passed my road test and I wouldn't have been able to if not for Ruben. My only advice would be to practice with someone else if possible, not because you won't learn from the lessons, but just so that you are more comfortable driving. Ruben will help you cover ALL of the necessary skills needed to pass - my inexperience and success is proof of that! Also, make sure to ask Ruben any questions you have. No question is too small for him and having him explain why certain steps are important really helped me understand and remember them. He's really an amazing guy. I highly recommend him! Read Less

As others have previously stated I will restate as well, Ruben is absolutely fantastic. He speaks Spanish and English, is very humorous and down to earth. You could say he is a "people" person. He is a great patient teacher and will show you how to correctly drive for the exam and for overall life use. I had no driving experience when I signed up for the 10 lesson package and I can safely say I am very confident in my driving skills now. So many positive things to say about Ruben. I got the 5-lesson package earlier this month; I've driven before but not for a decade, and never consistently. He taught me how to do everything, drive, parallel park, 3-point turn, etc etc. He was patient, kind, and *incredibly* informative. He didn't coddle you but you never felt like you were attacked for doing something wrong - a real natural teacher. He was always on-time, always professional. I passed my road test today, first shot, and it's because Ruben taught me the skills and gave me the confidence (and booked the test for me :) ). I have nothing but great things to say about this school. Ruben, the instructor is very patient. He explains things fully. He shows you how to drive, not just pass the road test. I went to 2 previous schools in the area...they were an epic failure. One instructor was harsh, not explaining anything about the car and the 2nd one was extremely forgetful, and had me on the highway the 2nd day. After those two experiences, I went with Hudson Brother, and passed my the road test the first try. The prices are reasonable, and you get professionalism with your service. I agree with Johanna we actually both took the road test the same day.   I started with no driving experience! And Ruben the instructor was very patient and very easy to talk to. He was able to transfer his knowledge very clearly and he prepares you very well for the road test. I took a 10 lesson package which I thought was very affordable and definitely worth it because like Johanna I too have my license now. Yay!! Ruben is bilingual and can speak both English and Spanish just in case there are those that have difficulty. Ruben was very thorough and I will definitely recommend this driving school. Read Less
