I have taken the 15 hours driving lessons from Revolution and now I know why this is the highest rated school in Manhattan and should be all around the NYC ! I had very little driving experience previous to the course but the instructors made sure that I was ready with various technical and practical teaching techniques. All instructors focus on each aspect of safe driving as well as strengthen my weaknesses. They made sure that I experience all real life situations. We drove from tight back streets, bumper to bumper trafic, even through highways during daylight and night time, regardless rain or shine. Most of all, it was a great pleasure to study with this group of kind and patient professionals with a great passion for teaching. I didn’t only get my diving license but also made friends. Highly recommend Revolution Driving School. The experience with it was just amazing! I took 10 hours class with Ibo and passed the test in just three weeks. He was super patient and smart, and could always precisely found out the real problems on me and correct them. I improved my driving skills very fast. Revolution did a great job! The pre-licensing course and selection of driving test date went very smoothly. I took a 1-hour lesson with Emre right before my road test, and he could not have been more helpful - he corrected a few issues with my driving and stayed calm and positive the whole time. I'm in my 5 hour Pre driving course right now as I speak. The class isn't as boring as my first time taking it at another location. We are asking questions and interacting with the instructor. He is clear and answers your questions very well. The classroom is neat and clean. There is a small kitchen with water tea etc. The place feels very modern and comfortable. There is a waiting lounge in the entrance with magazines a coffee table chairs and bean bags for that fun look. It honestly looks like a small version of google. I would imagine google has the same feeling as this place. The chairs in the class room are leather wheel chairs so I was very comfortable during the 5 hrs unlike most other places. I was so nervous learning how to drive and did not have confidence, but under Ibo's instruction I managed to not only pass my test on my first try after just a month of lessons, but feel confident in myself behind the wheel. I came to Revolution Driving School as a driver who holds a foreign driver's license.I went through the five-hour certification course and today had the honor to be picked up by Vladimir, get an hour-long lesson with him and pass the road test.From the very first moment I contact this school, the sweet lady was highly responsive and answered all my questions. So grateful for this school.  I took four lessons which covered city driving and highway driving, in anticipation of a road trip in upstate New York.  The instructors and the person coordinating the lessons were incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating of my limited schedule.  My first drive on my own, was under harsh conditions: heavy rain and fog which limited visibility -- but I felt confident and managed the drive with no problem thanks to the practice and instruction.  The lessons really helped me overcome my driving anxiety and now I am much more confident on the road.  THANKS A MILLION! :) Read Less

Ibo was thorough, very patient and friendly, all of which I appreciated since I tend to get nervous on the road. On the day before my road test, I found out my friend wasn't able to drive me to the exam. Initially I didn't worry because I thought it would be easy to call one of the many driving schools in manhattan to arrange a ride + car to use for the road test. I called about 20 schools and every one of them said no one was available on such short notice. I was moments away from cancelling the road test appointment when I received a callback from Natalia from Revolution who said something opened up and Ibo was able to take me. I was very relieved. The following day, I met Ibo at a location convenient for both of us and he explained that he could understand the sense of urgency of the situation and agreed to take me, despite being so last-minute and far (white plains).  He gave me a thorough overview of exactly what i should expect, and told me every possible detail of what I should and shouldn't do, which was very helpful because there is little margin for error during the short test. Although I consider myself a good driver, I was only one or two small mistakes from a fail. I give credit to Ibo for helping me squeeze by with a pass. Can't recommend this school enough! I got a package deal for 20 hours, which included pre-licensing course and a road test. Staff was very accommodating in terms of schedule and pick ups, text reminders were very helpful too. I never drove in my life, at 31, thought it wouldn't be easy to learn from scratch, but Vladimir was so great at teaching/explaining- I passed at a first try! Well-designed and planned instruction sessions. Had basically no previous driving experience (except a few runs around a parking lot with family members years ago) and passed my road test on the first try after the school's 5-hour course & 5 one-hour sessions of on the road practice (although I think I would have benefitted more from a few more hours of practice on the road, so I would suggest booking more sessions if you're a novice driver like me). He is very knowledgeable about driving and stresses the importance of safety first! Ibo is an amazing driving instructor. I started with zero experience in driving and passed my road test in the first try - all thanks to Ibo and couple of weeks of driving lessons that I had with him. I found out about this place through my friend who also took lessons with Ibo and passed the exam in his first try. Ibo is very thorough and patient in the lessons and will identify exactly what I need to work on in each lesson ( not only to pass the actual road test but to actually be a good, safe driver).
