Our 3 instructors and myself all have 25 years plus experience as professional drivers with excellent driving records. I alone have over 30 years driving experience with more than 2.5 million safe driving miles. In the last 6 years I have begun competing in the State Truck Driving Championships because I feel it makes me a better driver. You must be a professional driver, and have been accident free with a clean driving record to be able to compete in this competition. I have proudly so far won in NY State 4 times and then been able to advance to the National Truck Driving Championship. This is the Super Bowl of Safety! My instructors are also past competitors and State winners.

I Just passed my CDL A road test thanks to this school! The prices seem expensive, but they are actually very fair. Kenny is an amazing person. Due to my work schedule, I was only able to train Saturdays and that was no problem for Kenny. Kenny is the owner and a championship Truck driver. When he wasn't available I took my lessons with Ron or Rich. Ron is definitely a Character. Most importantly when I was with Ron or Kenny, I always felt like I wasn't cheated and always used at least every minute of my time that I paid for. The only thing that pissed me off was my lesson with Rich. I went out with him once. Another green student came along to observe my shifting and the way I handled the truck, that wasn't a problem. Rich is a nice person, but that day I paid for a 2 hour lesson. after about an hour rich asked me to stop so he could take a smoke break. The break ended up costing me almost a half hour! That time was never added on to the end of the lesson -_-. I would recommend when using this school, if you do have a lesson with rich, be firm that your not paying for him to take a smoke break unless he will add the time to the end of the lesson. But the important thing is this is a great 1 on 1 school and I passed my road test on my first try! Now I can expand my career and future! A great investment!

Very unorganized driving school! Bought a 5 lesson pkg for my son that included a lesson before his road test...he never got a lesson, not even 10 mins! We were told to show up at 11:45 the day of the road test and the driver finally came around 12:15. Then he said he couldn't even take my son out, as he had 2 other kids scheduled for their road test. After calling the owner the driver came back to get my son and he waited in the car while 2 other kids were practicing. Thankfully he passed his road test but I truly believe it's because of the other lessons he's been taking at Decat. Much more organized driving school with much better cars. Very disappointed in Kerry Driving School.

The truck was in serious need of repairs. The check engine light was on and the passenger mirror was broken and duct tape was holding it in place. When I bushed by a low hanging branch it moved the br...
The truck was in serious need of repairs. The check engine light was on and the passenger mirror was broken and duct tape was holding it in place. When I bushed by a low hanging branch it moved the broken mirror and the instructor couldn't get it to stay in place for me to be able to see. When I told them I wanted a refund because I didn't find this to be a professional lesson, or a safe truck they said no. i got a lesson so I have to pay for it. I was free to go elsewhere for additional lessons. The only problem with that is the first lesson is credited to a package deal. If you start with them you lose $220 if you decide to go to another school and get their package. The instructor also told me about all the problems they were having with DMV testers. A lot of their drivers were failing the CDL driving test. He was going to write a letter complaining about some of the testers. HUMMMMM!!!! Stay away.

Wish I could give more stars!!Kerry Professional Driving School is great. The instructors are very knowledgable and easy to learn from. I just passed my CDL-A, on the first shot, with their careful guidance. They were very open about scheduling lessons and were able to accommodate my hectic work schedule. For anyone looking to get a CDL, I highly recommend them.

Kerry Professional Driving School is perhaps the best I've been to in pursuit of a CDL A I received last fall. The instructors while can be tough and blunt in how you're doing, they're truly committed in seeing their students succeed in passing their road tests and more importantly don't setup one until the student is ready for it. They start off low simply teaching about shifting gears, making turns, parallel parking, and inspection. They literally provide everyone with pre-inspection sheet to bring home and study until they've mastered it. They even like to keep in touch with their formal students to see how they've been doing as to seeking employment which I'm grateful for and appreciative. I highly recommend anyone to attend this school looking to obtain theie license.

Due to my work schedule, I was only able to train Saturdays and that was no problem for Kenny. Kenny is the owner and a championship Truck driver. Wish I could give more stars!!Kerry Professional Driving School is great. The instructors are very knowledgable and easy to learn from. I just passed my CDL-A, on the first shot, with their careful guidance. They were very open about scheduling lessons and were able to accommodate my hectic work schedule. For anyone looking to get a CDL, I highly recommend them.
