I would give more than five stars for their instructor Grant; he is truly amazing! I never drove before, went to a different Auto school and almost gave up on driving after my first lesson. Luckily I called Suffolk Auto School and set up my class with Grant. He made me so confortable with driving from the day one! He is patient, knowledgeable and motivating. He truly cares and wants you to succeed! He taught me a lot about driving and showed me tricks that brought my parallel parking technic and three point U-turn to perfection. My daughter Marisa passed the first time with a PERFECT SCORE with a Huge thanks to her instructor Grant! She had a lesson a few days before her road test and she was really nervous! She came home so much more confident and learned in minutes a much better way to parallel park. The day of the test he reminded us of what papers we needed and was very early and ready! She passed flawlessly!! The testing agent asked him if he taught her that parallel park as it was the best she has EVER seen. Also called her the best driver she had seen in a week plus! stay away from them. they are rude, have no clue most of the time, instructors don't bother to show up for the class sometimes and not let you know that they won't show up.  not worth the money, not worth the pain. Read Less

WORST customer experience I have ever encountered. I woke up ill and had to cancel a driving lesson- as per my doctors recommendation. An experienced driver much less a new driver should NOT drive with a migraine which causes dizzyness and blurred vision. This would be a danger to myself as well as my instructor and anyone on the road. When I told the receptionist I was ill and advised not to drive, she quite literally YELLED at me and was EXTREMELY rude and vulgar. I suppose they would have preferred for me to endanger others? Needless to say, I will be cancelling my package with them and I advise others to stay away from this driving school at all costs. One lesson is not worth your life or anyone else's. Read Less

I can't speak to the quality of their instruction because I didn't even get that far.  I'm taking lessons here in the city with a great school but am taking the test on LI (quicker date) and wanted to hire them to do the practice road test and use a car for the test as advertised on their site.  I spoke to one person on Monday and this was fine.  I spoke to another person today and apparently the practice test which is advertised on their site as part of the package and the part I really want cost extra.  WHen I said I wanted a practice test just so I could work with an instructor who had familiarity with the specific testing site that I would be at she got rude and said "all road tests are the same."  If they don't want my business that's fine.  Also, the road test service alone cost half of what I'm paying in the city and I'm getting 6 lessons, the 5 hour course, and scheduling service.  Overpriced, rude, and not very smart it seems. I took the 5 hour class yesterday and the instructor was very helpful. The videos are boring and so depressing (its part of the requirement class) but Dennys the instructor gave us good tips for the road test.The time went fast there. Read Less

My daughter failed her first road test and we wanted prep for the next road test.  The instructor was extremely helpful and friendly and helped my daughter get over her nervousness in just a few sessions.  She was more confident and passed her test with very minor deductions.  Price was the best on Long Island and worth every penny.  Thanks Read Less

we booked for a lesson and they charged my credit card.they never showed up and didnt call.when I asked for a refund,they continue to ignored to return my calls.Its been two months and I am still waiting for my refund. I heard this is not the first time this have happened. Read Less
