I signed up for 2 lessons with this school for its pricing and to see how things go to determine if I should stick with this school. I was suppose to have a 45 min lesson. But the instructor I had cut my time on both lessons. When I noticed on my first driving lesson that the time did not equal to 45 min, I made sure to put a timer on my phone for the second lesson. On the second lesson he ended the driving lesson with 18 minutes still on the clock. He had me drive to the next student home and told me to get in the back seat. That's when I realized that not only the lesson was over in which he confirmed with a quick mutter, but there was still about 18 minutes left. When I confronted him about it while he was instructing the student on her driving, he acknowledged what I said but didn't respond. Then he changed the subject and started asking questions about my past driving experience. The feeling I got was that he was trying to deliberately cheat me out of my money and time. When I call the school about him, the lady on the phone said he probably cut my time in half because I was-int listening to him or I was crossing red lights. But when I told her that he didn't gave any response to why he cut my time on both lessons, the reaction I got was more like "what do you want me to do about it", or "there isn't anything I can really do about it". when I kept pressing for action to be taken, the lady said she will call her boss and she will get back to me but Im not going to count on that.
And another thing, the first time he came to my home he was a couple of minutes late. I didn't made a big deal. just as long as i get my 45 minute lesson. Then on the second lesson he was 14 minutes late. The second lesson was scheduled for 2:00 pm on a weekday.

Stay Away!!!!! There is a Receptionist who is very rude. She does not communicate with you, she handles all transactions. Which is very hard to even see who the owner is. She act like she knows what she is talking about and do not at all. My son is suppose to take 6 lessons only took 2. On the 3rd lesson she reschedule him without giving him an option or choice, since he was away for a college orientation. This was responded to her when she called and ask me for him.
So the following day I address the situation and she tells me I have an attitude so choose not to deal with me. This receptionist and I only had 1 conversation, which only concluded me asking her- Why do you answer the phone with an attitude? She responds, that's the way I talk if you dont like it I cant do anything about it. Who does that, especially when your answering phones for a business you do not own. Poor phone Etiquette, which turns people or business away. I would never do business with them and I hope you do not to

The pre-licensing course was a 5 hour waste of time in which a demented old man just told us stupid stories about shootings. Its cheap so I went there, but spend more money and go to a better place. The driver was never on time, not for ANY of the SCHEDULED driving lessons. The receptionist was rude and indifferent. I would NOT recommed this driving school.

Thee worst driving school ever. They are very unprofessional and Mr.L is a very condescending instructor. The only reason they will call you if its money related. On the day of my road test I had to call them to even make sure it was still scheduled. The Worst. It's fairly cheap, but it's not worth the headache.

Ren and the staff are great! I took driving lessons with them during college and failed my first road test. 3 years later and moving back home to Brooklyn, I returned to Renex to finally check off "Get your license!" off my To-Do list. My permit was also expiring so it was this year or not anytime soon.Surprisingly, they all remembered me and Ren was my driving instructor again. I can't really compare with other instructors and other schools, but Ren made me feel comfortable and readily answered all my questions. The secretary was super accommodating with scheduling, and the road test was cake once I took it. The only thing is that I wish I was informed about when I first started taking lessons here 3 years ago, is the order of which to do things. I didn't know I should have taken my 5 hour class first in order to have a driving test scheduled. What ended happening the first time around is that I finished my driving lesson package then took my 5 hour class and I had to wait a month for my road test, without much driving practice in that last month = failing my first go. Otherwise the staff is personable and kept me at ease during the 4 week process of finally getting my license!TIP: driving lessons get booked quickly so make sure to make your appts at least a week in advance!

I signed up for 2 lessons with this school for its pricing and to see how things go to determine if I should stick with this school. I was suppose to have a 45 min lesson. Stay Away!!!!! There is a Receptionist who is very rude. She does not communicate with you, she handles all transactions. Which is very hard to even see who the owner is. She act like she knows what she is talking about and do not at all. My son is suppose to take 6 lessons only took 2. On the day of my road test I had to call them to even make sure it was still scheduled. The Worst. It's fairly cheap, but it's not worth the headache.
