The service you get at most driving school could possibly be one of the worst customer service experiences you will get but not here at Lafayette Auto Driving School. The lady working the desk is fairly organized and on point. I was really busy when I signed up for driving lessons but she accommodated my schedule with the best availability for my lessons. Every lesson, I get a courtesy phone call or voicemail reminding me about the time and location. My driving instructor, Evan, was superb. I know he probably wanted to kick me out of the driver seat and yell at me for my repeated violations or wrong doings but he was patient and nice and did not doubt me, which made me only wanting to do better. Eventually passed my road test in one try all thanks to this place. Read Less

Do not come here! Look for another driving school. One of the instructor is the owner's son and let me tell you that they are not professional, they are here after your money they don't care if you pass or not. They are not so friendly either, their office is in such a bad condition too. If you are taking the road test in Staten Island they will ask you $15 for the toll to get there, even when you are carpooling - in my opinion when you carpool you can split the amount, but they charge everyone in the car $15, who does that? Obviously them because they are after your money. Read Less

My assigned driving instructor was terrible. He was not certified to be an instructor. I found out from the DMW that my instructor only had a notarized letter stating he was able to teach people how to drive. My instructor would stop during a session to use the restroom or refill gas. The school's advertising is very deceptive. They indicated you will be given 10 lessons, and I did not find out till after I paid for the package deal that they combine 2 lessons within a 45 minute-1 hour session. I found out after the road test that many students did not pass the road test. I will never recommend this location. Read Less
