This place is horrible! If you want to learn how to drive, definitely do not come to this place. However, if you already know how to drive and only need to take the test and watch the video, then by all means use this place. This place doesn't care about its students at all! All they care about is making money. The instructor I had did not TEACH whatsoever. All he did was TELL me what to do in the hopes that I'll memorize it. He never explained to me why I do whatever he tells me to do. Additionally, the lady who is in charge of the schedules and money is very rude. I signed up to take classes in January and as a rule of the DMV, the pre-licensing course completion certificate only lasts one year; that means that I'll only be able to take the road test within that one year. After that year, I'll have to pay again for another certificate. I paid for 2 road tests. I wanted to take a test in June, but she told me the schedule is full and to call one month in advance to reserve a spot. So I decided to take the road test in October, and I called a full month earlier and she tells me that the spots are full again. As a side note, I go to college out of the city so I can only take the test during my breaks, therefore I can only request specific dates. The next time I call, I call a full month and a half early to request a road test in November, which she tells me is full again. With that being said, the lady made no effort to call me ahead to time to let me know when the schedule for road tests opened up even though I told her that I wanted to take the tests during those time. I ended up taking the test in December and failed. Now I can't take the test a second time, even though I paid for 2 road tests because my certificate has expired. So they made extra money off of me even though it was THEIR responsibility to help me schedule the road test. I did my job and called her way ahead of time to reserve a road test but every time she said it was full. Honestly, if she actually cared about the students, she would have notified me as soon as the schedule opened up for the month I wanted to take the road test. When I finally got to take the test in December, I chose Staten Island and I had to pay a $15 toll. HOWEVER, I didn't realize I would be going to Staten Island with 3 other students to take the test. We each had to pay $15--for a total of $45, an extra $30 above the actual toll. It's outrageous how they are so dishonest and cheat money off their students. Because of these other students, I had to wait outside in 30 degree weather for TWO hours, walking around in circles like an idiot because it was so cold. This place may offer lessons for cheap but I would honestly have chosen a more expensive place that TAUGHT students how to drive. Save yourself the trouble and don't go to this place please. HORRIBLE DRIVING SCHOOL!!As you walk in, there will be a lady at the reception which is the lady boss. She tries to make you buy packages but does not thoroughly describe them and says it in a rude tone. 12 lessons was $315 where you can get a lot cheaper elsewhere. 1 lesson is 45 minutes but they like to merge 2 lessons together and do not let you only take 1 lesson at a time. There are two instructors there, one that speaks English and one that does not. I had the one who spoke English, which is the lady boss's son, named Peter. He has a heavy accent and his English is broken. After 10 lessons, I did not learn anything at all. I did not even know how to turn properly. The instructor tells you to do this and that while driving but does not explain how to do it. He has no patience and is inconsiderate to the student. For the majority of the time, you are driving straight. Also, while driving, he is constantly on his phone playing games, texting, or talking. He does not pay close attention to what you do and teach you properly. He gives off an attitude where he does not want to teach or even care about the student. He even has the audacity to tell me to purchase more lessons. This driving school business only cares about earning money and the instructors are impatient and rude. The only reason why I gave this review 1 star is because yelp requires you to rate it. If I could, I would give it negative stars. This place was seriously a waste of my money and time. I would not recommend anyone to this place because no one should paid to be treated this way. Stay away and get lessons elsewhere!! Read Less
