I am a decidedly middle aged man, who has his license since he was 18, always had a car and always loved to drive. Unfortunately, my car was stolen in 1996, so I threw my hands up and swore I would never buy another car as long as I lived in Brooklyn. Now, I have a wonderful chance to return to my beloved Connecticut, where, like every other suburb, one needs a car and drive all over hell's half acre. I had heard about Bath Beach from friends, who actually ventured out there from Manhattan and Billyburg. I now see why that was the case. I am waiting for a new pair of glasses and the optician is surely taking his sweet time (I should review his shop, but I want to keep my karma in check). Anyway, the reviews here and my brief chat with Barbara convince me that all will shake out beautifully, so at the very least, if I return to Cupcake Connecticut, I will be loaded for bear. By the way, Cupcake Connecticut is NOT an actual place- but it is a state of mind. So don't run to the map - people I've know have done just that! :-) Read Less
