Great experience overall. The instructors are great and curtious, they try their best to keep you calm and composed. Luckily I was able to pass on my first try with thos school. The Corolla they use is very easy to drive. They have a great fools proof parking technique. In all honesty, the hardest thing of this whole process is calming yourself on the test day. Good prices, mediocre service, rundown vehicles.  I purchased the 5 lesson package and unlike some driving schools, here you are taught by multiple instructors so each lesson is like a fresh start which may be a pro or con depending on how you view it however, I did not really care for it.  At the beginning of each session I was asked the same questions - Have you driven before? How many lessons did you purchase? and When is your road test?  On the day of the road test I went in a car with 2 other students and it took hours to complete the process but I passed and that is what really matters.  If you have a choice in the matter I would highly recommend Orlando, he was great! Excellent staff ! My instructor Orlando is the best he was very patient with me. Orlando gave me better driving tips that I will always use in the future. Also scheduling classes was very easy you don't get the run around as usual places will do the best part is they work with your schedule. Just passed my road test today. Had 3 lessons with 3 different instructors but Orlando was the best once and he also took me to the road test site. I went to this driving school after having paid over $500 for a total of ten classes at another driving school and HATING the instructor I had. I purchased an additional 8 classes at this driving school and passed my driving test on the first try. My instructor, Joseph, was absolutely wonderful, to say the least. He was calm and he coached me through the process. Keep in mind that I am/was a very nervous driver and I was so so scared of the road. Joseph worked with me and helped me calm down. He explained the importance of staying calm while on the road and gave me awesome feedback on how to make my turns, how to park and how to stay in my lane.I recommend this driving school, specifically the instructor Joseph. I've learned more from only taking 3 lessions in this driving school than 12 classes at this awful school in Chinatown. So I had given up on trying to get my drivers license after a horrible experience I had with a prior driving school. I found this driving school and from the moment I entered I knew this would be the school. Melvin was very professional and very accommodating to my very tight schedule. I had the most awesome driving instructor Joseph! He is very stern and very patient and was so helpful, he would even provide homework so I can be able to read and practice at home!. The day of my driving test I was so nervous and Melvin was there to ease my nerves and to congratulate me as soon a I passed my drivers test!. I was up for a promotion at work that required a drivers license. I'd never driven before so the pressure of obtaining a drivers license was intense. I purchased the 5 classes package in August & as of September 22, 2014, I am officially a NYS licensed driver. I owe it all to my incredible instructor Stephano. Though when I first met him I was a tad apprehensive about him because he was a good 10 years younger than me...but I figured its DRIVING...what does age have to do with it? Absolutely nothing in this case. He was very detailed and EXTREMELY patient. If it wasn't for First Class Driving School, I would still be stuck on the "I don't need to drive, I live in NYC" mindframe. I have mixed feeling about this place.First off the owner is Melvin and he is the best driving instructor here however he doesn't teach unless there is an EMERGENCY (i.e one of his drivers is on vacation, etc.) His younger brother is also a good driver instructor. Besides those 2, I really don't recommend anyone else (I've driven with all the instructors) and if you decide to learn here please expect non-organization and skepticism. So i took some driving lessons with this school and let me tell u the driver had alot of patiences with me and understood my conditions and helped me gain my drivers license ! the prices on the lessons is the best in town. i took a package of 10 and it worked for me he showed me some cool techniques on my parking and broken U-turns and it helped me alot actually. i would definitely reffer this school to my friends and family. The name and picture of this school should be displayed under sexual- Harrasment. I took classes with this school last year in hopes that I can finally learn how to drive and get my license. The owner shared is what we Hispanic call FRESH, meaning very inappropriate to women !!! But get this!!! He has an instructor, GOD BEWARE. The instructor (LUIS) teaches you and at the same time he begin to get too inappropriate, places his hand on your knee, your thigh, his elbow on your shoulder, all while you are learning how to drive. These men are so inappropriate and desperate as a women YOU Won't BE ABLE TO LEARN!!!!! The owner's wife Cruz works as the appointment scheduler, this idiot is so incompetent. She seems to suffer from anxiety and depression. She will forget when she schedules you for and even forget to schedule your road test.
