I signed my daughter up for lessons on Saturdays for a specific time. The instructor Ron was amazing! HOWEVER, for the second lesson, I received a reminder call stating a different time. When I asked the woman on the phone why the time changed, she said my daughter approved it. When I spoke to my daughter she said that she was NEVER told of a time change. Then while at her second lesson the instructor doubled up on the lesson (again I had no idea he was going to do that). After her 2nd/3rd lesson the instructor tells her that her next lesson was going to be three weeks later AND ON A WEDNESDAY!!! I was irate, so I call the office and speak to the receptionist about the scheduling conflicts. She takes a message and says that the manager or owner will call me back. After not receiving a call, I call back again the next day and speak to a different receptionist and I explain EVERYTHING again! She tells me the same thing as the first one. The third day the manager Jason calls and says that they can't send an instructor to my location for just 1 person. No one ever told mr that when I paid ALL of the money for the lessons! I asked for a refund for the remaining lessons and the 5 hour liscensing course!! BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE!! Don't waste your time OR money! I will definitely be looking for a more professional establishment!! Read Less

Passed my road test on the first try! That speaks for itself. Before taking lessons here, I was considered the worst driver in my family... living in an urban environment, I managed to put off learning to drive until I was 21. While I never considered myself a "bad" driver, I wasn't confident and knew only basics, no maneuvers. Over the course of a summer, I took six lessons and learned everything I needed to know for the exam. My instructor was Alex, who was really helpful, fun, and often doubled as a Syracuse tour guide. He loves chatting with students, and I ended up becoming much more comfortable behind the wheel because I was able to focus on something besides my own nervousness. I learned invaluable tricks for 3-point turns and parallel parking that I would have taken me months to master on my own.I got a package that included four lessons, a five-hour course, and renting the school's car for the road test. It was a great deal at about $300, much less than the rates around Long Island/Westchester. I got two additional lessons for $110 when I felt that I needed additional instruction.Initially, I signed up with them because they were expanding to Watertown (where the hubby is stationed). It's unfortunate that they are currently not doing lessons up there at the moment; I ended up making the trip to Syracuse from Watertown for my lessons. It would be great if more people up in Watertown became interested so that their expansion could be successful; as far as I know there aren't a lot of driving schools up north! Read Less

Every employee at Able II Driving School is as professional as a company can get. As an adult driver with much previous experience, I wanted a few quick refresher lessons to asses any problems and prep me to take the test. Able II has a number of packages to choose from as well as single lessons and courses, enabling me to get the education I needed for a very reasonable price. Both the private lessons I took as well as the 5-hour licensing course were well-taught and a breeze to get through. I appreciated that I could take my road test in the car I drove during my lessons, and I aced the test the first time! Even though we had a couple of scheduling conflicts, the staff were pleasant and worked with me to reschedule. I would highly recommend Able II to anyone, from first-time teen drivers to adult drivers like myself. You will absolutely get your time and money's worth! Read Less
