This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional. The driver arrived 1/2 hour late to pick up my child for her driver's test. "Traffic" was the excuse. The driver made my daughter very uncomfortable by making nasty comments about MY behavior (I complained about the tardiness). She said he was "mean and scary- I couldn't wait to get out of the car." THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Especially on my daughter's birthday. When the company finally (after 4 voice mail messages - they didn't answer the phones- AND a personal visit to the office) a woman named Janice called. She refused to let me talk. Instead, she yelled at me!!!!! I could not get a word in as she defended her company and driver -VERY LOUDLY. THIS COMPANY CARES NOTHING ABOUT IT'S CLIENTS- the adage that the client is always right is definitely not the code of East Coast.Read Less

I had such a great experience with East Coast Driving School. Iam a Adult driver who happened to get Driver's License. I wanted driving classes for road test. Then I found East Coast Driving School in the internet search. Steven is my primary teacher. I took Driving classes from him before the road test. Hes very encouraging, have lots of patience. He teaches the proffessional way of driving. He teaches the techniques of defensive and safe driving and I felt confident that I could pass. Im a overcautious and nervous driver but Steven teaches to overcome nervousness with his precise intructions I found driving to be fun. He will teach how to drive on Highways without feeling nervous. I ordinarily don't write online reviews, but feel compelled to do so because I had such a great experience with this company. I'm an adult driver who happened to get a Ph.D. before a driver's license. Steve was my primary teacher. I took six hours of lessons with him, which would have been enough to pass the road test. He was outstanding, and I felt confident I could pass. I expected to be a very anxious driver, but I honestly never felt nervous behind the wheel because his instructions were so precise. I actually found driving to be fun. I booked an additional four hours and the road test with East Coast because I wanted to invest the time to really learn things the right way before I was on the road alone. For my extra lessons, I had Denny and Raymond as teachers and they were excellent, too. I passed my road test the first time around thanks to this team. More importantly, I don't feel fearful about driving on the roads or highways. I'd recommend this school to anyone. Read Less

We used East Coast Driving School for our 16-year old daughter. The school provides a summer program at Princeton Day School, which is where we learned about their driving instruction. We and many of our daughter's friends LOVE the school -- and every year, ECDS is the go-to program for 17 year olds at PDS. The instructors are professional, patient, and specialize in nervous drivers. You will not be disappointed. Do not take that negative review that another reviewer posted seriously. East Coast has been in the business for over 18 years, and they have a great track record. We wouldn't trust our daughter (a very nervous driver who never thought she would get her license), with anyone else. Read Less
