The worst! Left my kid in tears after every lesson. We have to put up with it at this point. Stick it out, get the permit and then I can really teach her how to drive. What a racket ,$325 These driving schools have lobbied the DMV that allows only driving schools to "teach" a 16 yr old to drive or do it for free when they're 17. They're making big bucks and they realize they're the only game in town. I would recommend using a different driving school and illegally practicing with your kid before signing up for lesions. They did an excellent job for our daughter, picking her up from school, teaching her how to drive, they even took her for her license because none of our cars have a center pull emergency brake that NJ requires for the on the road test! We will use them again in a few years for our son! Read Less

Carr's is great. The price is for the full state requirement of driving time, which is 6 hours. In addition, they will go to motor vehicle and handle all of the paperwork; all I did was fill out a couple of forms, and they did the rest for both of my children. Drivers are great, very calm, and taught my kids very well. Read Less
