I got my CDL license here. The classroom is located here where you spend a week. If you pass the written test at the mvc agency you spend the next 3-4 weeks at the off site yard where learn to drive the truck. For me the instruction was adequate. But the facilities and equipment was really sub par at best. The yard is a dirt yard so when your practicing the alley docking the wheels don't grip the same way they do on asphalt like on your actual road test. You get about a week worth of actual road driving. They cram 5 students into the truck and you split the day driving. They say they offer job placement but mostly what they offer is the big box companies for over the road driving. Don't anticipate them finding you a local job it's probably not gonna happen.
