My name is Michael Hagen and I’m the owner of Drivability, LLC. I’m not only the owner, but an instructor as well, since 2009. In 2016, I opened a NJMVC Certified Driving School called Drivability Driving School. As an instructor and owner I have been referred throughout the years from hundreds of parents/ students throughout Bergen, Essex, Morris, and Passaic County. Over the years as an instructor I have taken great pride in making my students feel at ease and safe behind the wheel.

Excellent driving school! The instructors were knowledgeable and patient. Both my son and daughter had a great experience during their lessons. My daughter was very nervous on the day of her test. Mike, the owner was so supportive and helped calm her nerves helping her to pass her test. (Thank you!)

AMAZING driving school!!! I passed my test on the FIRST try as a result of the lesson I had with Kevin. He’s an excellent instructor and extremely thorough!! Mike is also very polite and helped ease my nerves before my test. I would recommend Drivability to ANYONE who needs preparation for their road test. 10/10!!!!

Did my 6 hours with Mr. Hagen. He was very patient with me and gave me some useful tips that I can use for other times. He makes sure you understand what's happening and is very calming so you don't feel worked up about driving. With Mr. Hagen, you don't feel like you're the only one in the car. Overall he is a great instructor and would recommend for good advice and good laughs.

We had a great experience for our twin daughters. They had Matt as their initial instructor who was great. He was flexible with times and very patient. We had Mike for our review and it went well. Both girls passed on first try :). One more daughter in two years and we will use him again.

Mike is cool and relatable to teens. He is honest and made our son feel very comfortable in an otherwise very tense endeavor. Another benefit was his communication and tips for practicing on your own....

Both my daughters were lucky to have Mike as their driving instructor! He did a great job communicating to them what they needed to focus on and gave them the confidence to be ready for their tests. The review session before taking the road test was great for them to understand what was expected. Both girls passed on their first try as a result. Definitely a great experience!

I also just did my road test lesson AKA refresher with him and i feel i am very ready to take my test. Overall, this is a great driving school to go to and i highly recommend it.

We could not be more pleased with the job Mike did teaching our 3 daughters to drive. We had him come back to give them a refresher before the driving test. All 3 passed on the first try. We have one more daughter to go. Will be calling Mike again in a few months. You can't go wrong hiring Mike.
