My name is Michael Hagen and I’m the owner of Drivability, LLC. I’m not only the owner, but an instructor as well, since 2009. In 2016, I opened a NJMVC Certified Driving School called Drivability Driving School. As an instructor and owner I have been referred throughout the years from hundreds of parents/ students throughout Bergen, Essex, Morris, and Passaic County. Over the years as an instructor I have taken great pride in making my students feel at ease and safe behind the wheel.

We had a wonderful experience with Drivability. From the very beginning, Mike was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. Out of all the companies I contacted, he explained the entire process the most clearly and made everything feel straightforward and stress free.
The instructors were all excellent. We used Bruce for most of our lessons, and he was patient, calm, encouraging, and very thorough. We also purchased additional lessons with other instructors, and every single one was professional, supportive, and exactly what you would hope for in a driving instructor.
My daughter felt comfortable and confident learning with them, and I really appreciated the consistency, patience, and quality of instruction throughout the entire experience. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and professional driving school.

Loved Jon the instructor who walked my son through the testing jitters! We did 6 hours behind the wheel, the 2 hour review, and the 30 minute review morning of and used their car.

Did my 6 hours with Mr. Hagen. He was very patient with me and gave me some useful tips that I can use for other times. He makes sure you understand what's happening and is very calming so you don't feel worked up about driving. With Mr. Hagen, you don't feel like you're the only one in the car. Overall he is a great instructor and would recommend for good advice and good laughs.

Both my daughters were lucky to have Mike as their driving instructor! He did a great job communicating to them what they needed to focus on and gave them the confidence to be ready for their tests. The review session before taking the road test was great for them to understand what was expected. Both girls passed on their first try as a result. Definitely a great experience!

I also just did my road test lesson AKA refresher with him and i feel i am very ready to take my test. Overall, this is a great driving school to go to and i highly recommend it.
