Surprisingly, I had a thrill at the course. I wasn't expecting to have a good time, first because I was rudely awoken by my alarm to get up on a Sunday morning. But not sleeping through it was an awesome decision by me. They put us into groups where we were taught how to swerve in and out of cones. Then, they even let us do some of the infant stages of drag racing. I felt like I was Paul Walker from Fast and Furious for the day. Overall, the defensive driving course covered everything the driving school left out. After completing the course, I know the ins and outs of driver safety, and am confident I'm one of the best teen driver's on the road to date.Read Less

I'm not going to lie--I was skeptical about the drive safer course. I mean sure it would be informative and helpful, but would it be fun? If I was going to be spending a good chunk of my Sunday taking this course, I needed it to be something I would enjoy and I must admit, it completely exceeded my expectations---in a positive way! I learned a lot during the classroom session, like why you should hold the steering wheel with two hands at 9 and 3 (I won't give the answer away here- you can take the course to find out why!). When it came to the course itself, I had a blast! The instructors were so friendly and charismatic. They genuinely want you to learn and master the different skills. Who knows when I will have the chance to whip around in tight circles or completely floor it without having to worry about getting a ticket or in an accident again? I highly recommend this course to people of all ages! It is great for teens learning to drive or adults who want to refresh their memory on how to handle their cars in different situations. And yes, I said "their" cars! The best part about this course is that you use your own car! You get to see how your own car handles each situation! Read Less

A great experience! Took the class with my 17 year old son. The skills that they teach are PRICELESS! My son totalled our new car 1 week after getting his DL- I was in he car with him- and we are truly blessed not to have been injured or killed. The accident was due to driver inexperience and there is no doubt in my mind that the skills he learned at Drive Safer would have either prevented or severely limited the severity of the accident. As a parent, you will rest much easier knowing that your child has these advanced skills. The discount on your auto insurance pays for the class! I took the class as well and after 30 years of 15k a year driving, I still learned a few new tricks. The instructors were very knowledgeable, supportive and fun.
