I only had two lessons with this school
As i already had some with a prior school/instructor.
I did pass but i had some difficulties trying it the way chantelle taught
I think she could use a bit more training on how to properly teach students.
I lucked out with an instructor on the day of the road test who gave me a third shot at parallel parking and i used the technique from the first school i had lessons from and nailed it.
ALSO THE CONE SET UP WAS NOT ACCURATE and i did ask her
If she had the same set up as rahway she said yes
But she didn’t
Rahway and newark both have the same set up.
Chantelle is a sweet girl
However talking on the phone during my classes which weren’t cheap
Also she said you can use side mirrors and rear view mirrors to parallel park.
That is not the case please look in the direction the car is going or you will fail.
Which the book said and the first school said but she said someone passed before with that info and seemed confident but thats false. 🤷🏾♀️
And she seemed mostly interested in discussing personal life.
Happy i passed but definitely not because of this school.

People may have had different experiences with the service. However, as far my experience goes, it was ideal in every aspect.
First, comparing Express driving school to other places I had called before, theres no comparison, the former is much better. This school has an actual physical location that you can go to so you feel more reassured. The instructor I had, I sticked with because she was so nice, amiable all the while teaching me easier ways for me to drive. Instead of telling me how I should drive, she taught me easier ways to do so, esp. in terms of parking but also coherent with what you'll be expected to demonstrate on your road test.
I didn't experience any discrimination, in fact, my instructor and I were from different races but that never even crossed my mind.
If you follow their guidelines in terms of confirming an appointment the day before, there won't any problems, they'll be punctual.
Overall, I had a great time with them.

I had a great experience of learning driving from Express Driving School. I had my exam on June 12th and thanks to Freddy C and Freddy R who helped me get my License in Rahway.
This was my second attempt for the license. I joined a different driving school during my first attempt, however I chose Express driving school by its reviews.. Freddy is such a great instructor, who helped me to understand the importance of every aspect of driving.. He not only taught how to do a safe driving and how to do parallel parking, but he also taught how to correct and fix the mistakes made in parallel parking... I definitely recommend Freddy to everyone.. I am posting this review so that it can benefit other students just like it benefitted me.😊

Amazing customer service and nothing but kindness.. I took my behind the wheel test with them and my teacher help me out with tips on what they were looking for while taking the test and made me feel like I had it in the bag the whole time and I believe that played a big part in me passing my test thanks a lot.. This school gets a %100 from me!!!!

Both Gino and Freddy went step-by-step, explaining everything thoroughly. I definitely recommend Express Driving School. Tell your friends.

What's fair is fair and this place is the least of being fair. They don't verify your documents. The manger is never around when u need him they reschedule your appointments without propper notice which in fact they state that in the contract but don't properly notify you. They cater to certain people , it seems that they just take your Money. They justify their mistakes by offering something of no value to me and bottom line is I'm disappointed in this driving school I should have done more research because it seems they get students in class to leave good reviews.

The process was really easy better than other driving school I was looking into. The contract was fast the first time I scheduled for a 4 hour practice since I only needed help with parking but the instructor did the whole run down with me, I did fail the first time but that was mostly my fault since I did not prepare with enough time. After I failed they had awesome customer service the front desk would call to ask if I wanted to schedule another practice and that they would schedule my road test as well. So eventually I did it I got in another 4 hours of practice and the next day the instructor picked me up from work he was so pleasant and told me I would pass not to worry, amazing confidence booster exactly what you want to hear before your road test. This time around I passed my exam and after the road text the instructor drove me home. Overall great experience and customer service.

I made an appointment and I signed a contract with them to take me to my road test and the instructor never showed up. I confirmed in person Friday afternoon for my road test scheduled for Monday. Not only did I miss my appointment at the DMV but also a day of work. Now, I have to wait another month for a new test date and miss another day of work.

Although I did some practices with my friends car, I still took one hour lesson to get familiar with the car and luckily I did because that's when I really learn something about the test and what the examiner expects from me. Fred is a really good instructor and very helpful during my training. Thanks to him, I pass my road test successfully. But I know I still have a lot to learn about driving, so just practice, practice and practice.By the way, the young man that took me to DMV is also very nice, experienced and cute. Lol.

I took an 8 hour practice and test package with them, and I passed my test at a first attempt. The instructors are very experienced and patient, and helped me a lot. I would definitely recommend people taking some hours' practice before the test, so you know what to expect, and how to react. --- 驾校有6小时和8小时的训练加路考套餐，很划算。从国内过来需要重考驾照的去这边的驾校练几个小时，成功率比较大。国内路考和美国路考差别还是相当大的，这边主要看你是不是及时停车，是不是左右使劲转脑袋。让教练跟你讲讲场地路线，哪儿有路牌，考起来比较轻松。

The instructor Jose is an outstanding teacher. He taught me with kindness and patience. He didn't mind repeating himself over and over again and made the learning experience enjoyable. He helped me build up my confidence and overcome my fear of driving manual/stick shift. I am so amazed at all I have been able to learn today thanks to this teacher! When I came to the class I was so scared because I took manual shift classes in the past and other instructors in a different schools were frustrated with me because I was scared to drive. Today, after my class with Excell I feel so much better!!! Tomorrow I will take classes with them again and due to the way my instructor is teaching me I feel confident that I will be able to drive like I always dreamed. I am a girl and I feel this way, imagine how good the classes are???? They are amazing l! So I really encourage you to take classes with them, you will be proud of your decision.

I don't think there is any better driving school than express. I passed on my first try. And the instructors are very friendly and out going. You'll get along great with them. Also each has a different way of teaching but you'll learn from the best. I learned a lot in the few days I practiced and all that is going in practice :)

They are good in terms of teaching but I was really annoyed by their tendency to prolong classes just for the sake of getting more money. They taught me left and right turns over 5 hours of classes. The driver didn t even bother to teach me parking after 7 hours of classes costing me more than 200 dollars. I expect that they think I need 10 more classes. Horrible there is nothing express about their teaching very slow very very slow......

First, comparing Express driving school to other places I had called before, theres no comparison, the former is much better. This was my second attempt for the license. I joined a different driving school during my first attempt, however I chose Express driving school by its reviews.. Freddy is such a great instructor, who helped me to understand the importance of every aspect of driving.. The manger is never around when u need him they reschedule your appointments without propper notice which in fact they state that in the contract but don't properly notify you. The process was really easy better than other driving school I was looking into. The contract was fast the first time I scheduled for a 4 hour practice since I only needed help with parking but the instructor did the whole run down with me, I did fail the first time but that was mostly my fault since I did not prepare with enough time. Fred is a really good instructor and very helpful during my training. Thanks to him, I pass my road test successfully. But I know I still have a lot to learn about driving, so just practice, practice and practice.By the way, the young man that took me to DMV is also very nice, experienced and cute. Lol.

The instructor Jose is an outstanding teacher. He taught me with kindness and patience. He didn't mind repeating himself over and over again and made the learning experience enjoyable. I don't think there is any better driving school than express. I passed on my first try. And the instructors are very friendly and out going. You'll get along great with them. They are good in terms of teaching but I was really annoyed by their tendency to prolong classes just for the sake of getting more money. They taught me left and right turns over 5 hours of classes.
