Karen's teaching philosophy is unique. She explains upfront how she will replicate driving scenarios that your teen will experience. For instance, she has them drive with the radio on, experience a person talking to them, pulling into a pizza joint, stopping at a grocery store, etc. She makes it fun for kids and lessens their stress. Additionally, Karen gives excellent driving tips and advice. My son was particularly impressed with her knowledge and help at the DMV as a clerk had messed up the needed information for his permit. My son just got finished with his student driving with Karen. Very impressed! She was professional and prompt, but most importantly taught my son all of the skills necessary to drive in a safe manner! I was very pleased. My son had already completed the required 6 hours but knew nothing about the fine details of driving. Karen came in with short notice and saved the day. She was courteous and accommodating. She picked my son up on time, went over details like adjusting his mirror and where to look when parallel parking. Both of my children took driving lessons with Karen. She is very accommodating in scheduling and willing to pick up her students from any locations. She is very enthusiastic about teaching driving. She takes her students to drive in real life situations not just circling in quiet neighborhoods where hardly any cars drive by, so students get a taste of what "driving" is really all about. I did my lessons with Karen all this week and I can't say anything bad about her and my experience. She was great! She taught me so much and made it fun and great! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!  They are awful. The woman has the kids drive her all around to do her errands, take her to eat while the student watches her eat and to top it off she makes them pull over so she can "vape". She counts the time she sits an feeds her self as part of the six hours so you are literally paying to have her stuff her face. Also she is an inconsiderate and rude person badgering my relationship be about personal family matters. Also at then end of the six hours the woman (Karen) would not take my relative to the dmv because " it's so far an I have to fill out all this paper work, I'll get it to you when I can" that is seriously unprofessional Again if you use this school you will be getting ripped off. She taught me practically everything wrong and honestly royally screwed me over. And her behavior was a minus along with her being highly unorganized which was a huge downside considering setting up the next class along with reciepts were counted on clock for driving time! (When she couldnt get her ipad to work or something went wrong it would take an extra 5-10 minutes.) I dont know if expierence is different for teens guided/living with their parents than adults (I am a twenty year old young woman not living with her parents) but she acted a certain way to me I didnt like, and her sarcasm along with certain comments confused me if not made me even more anxious. Her behavior was something that deeply bothered me, she was at times extremely rude. Multiple occasions I felt like a complete bother to her and she truthfully seemed very irritated with me. Truthfully I do not reccomend her to anyone, there were several things she had done on multiple occasions I did not like and if I tried to address them with her, she would make me look stupid and in the end just never grasp what I was trying to say. I found her attitude very unprofessional along with her in general. My advice is this, if attitude and behavior play a huge part for you when learning to drive let alone time (she tends to make pit tops and stall on multiple occasions atleast she did with me) do not go to her at all. You will find yourself unhappy. Its bad when your parents dish out alot of money for multiple classes (more than 6 hours) but its worse when you are as well and finding it all to be a waste. I took my teenage daughter to Kbees to get her learners permit, and some more lessons while she has the learning permit. Excellent service, the instructor Karen is very attentive, always instructing on how to proceed and correcting any mistakes explaining why. I recommend this driving school if you want to be certain that your kid will learn. My daughter enjoyed chatting with Karen while she was driving :)Kbees is very professional and know what they are doing. Absolutely awful. We used her for my daughter and my daughter had an awful experience with her. Her car smells like cigarettes, it's filthy, and she played music loud every lesson she had my child. My child begged me to cancel after the first lesson but we had already paid her for all three lessons. The floors and backseat are filled with her personal things, it is clearly her personal vehicle, I saw the inside of the car with my own eyes and was disgusted. I highly suggest you don't use KBEEs Driving School. It is a waste of time and money. Now that my child has her permit I'm the one teaching her todo things. She taught her NOTHING. She even had my child drive to her personal appointments and stop to get food or lottery tickets.. No wonder she was the cheapest driving school in this area. She is so unprofessional. Kbee's Driving School is a very good school, having done my six hours here, the car has good handling and decent acceleration. The instructor is very good and is willing to answer any question. During driving the instructor carries a conversation making the six hours of instructed driving less boring then it is driving around just to fulfill the requirement. Make sure to tell the instructor the experience you have had while driving, it will help determine a route that is more comfortable but still providing the necessary  skills of stopping, signaling, lane changes and merging. Such a good driving school! Karen did the impossible and taught me to parallel parallel park so well, even the motor vehicles driving tester was impressed! A very professional yet comfortable environment, I know I couldn't have done it without her. She turned my perception of stuffy driving instructors around with her great personality and was very accommodating and made learning to drive a pleasure, instead of something mandatory. We drove through real life situations and I know that will help me in the future. I still use her tips today when I'm driving and probably will for a long time. We used KBees Driving School not too long ago for my daughter. I made this account to specifically write this review. I looked up many driving schools all around Mercer and Hunterdon counties to make sure I found a good and trustworthy driving school to take my child around for her 6 hours. I read mostly negative reviews online for KBees Driving School, but I decided to give them a chance due to Karens many years of experience. My daughters experience was absolutely awful with Karen. She is very rude and unprofessional, I even saw that when she spoke to me. According to my daughter, her car was extremely filthy and smelled like cigarettes. I even smelt the cigarette smell on her when she came into my house. I even smelt the cigarette smell on my daughters clothes when she'd come home from doing a lesson with Karen. My daughter would feel sick after coming home from doing her lesson because of the smell in Karen's car. My daughter said she played music the entire time they were driving, which I believe is unprofessional. Turn the music off, and focus on teaching this child, who has never been behind the wheel of a car, how to get comfortable using the gas, breaks, steering, etc. Don't blast music, don't play with your phone or iPad, and lastly, don't yell at my child. My daughter felt like she talked to her like she was stupid and annoying. She yelled at my child if my child made a mistake while driving, for example, driving too slow or driving too fast or not slowing down enough when making a turn. Say things nicely. I even felt like Karen talked down to me like I was an annoyance. I met you once, for all of 10 minutes, and you're talking down and yelling at my daughter? That's what really aggravates me. I get it 100% that a teenager driving for the first time is not gonna be good at those things, but have patience, if you don't, you're in the wrong field. The only reason I did not pull my child out of KBees Driving School after their first lesson is because we paid and I wanted my daughter to do the remaining hours and get it over with so she could get her permit and we didn't have to go through the drama of switching to another driving school. I will let everyone we know in the area who have teenage kids who are looking for a driving school to stay far away from this driving school and to not be fooled by her cheap prices and years of experience. She needs to work on her attitude and being more professional, if I can complain to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission about Karen I will. My daughter was upset to the point of crying when she got home from her first lesson with Karen and I'm absolutely disgusted and regret using KBees Driving School. Also, Karen took my child to run her personal errands and stop for food for herself. I read another review where someone said she does this. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't use up the time I'm paying you to teach my daughter to go run your personal errands or stop and get yourself food if you forgot to eat breakfast. My child is your student not your personal driver. I talked to other parents about this who have used other driving schools and they were shocked and thought I was joking. Those 2 hours should be used to teach the child not used to do your personal errands. Schedule your personal errands around your job like everyone else does. No child needs to be sitting in the car or in the waiting room waiting for you for half an hour using up the time their parents paid you for to teach them to drive. I also feel like my daughter was not taught everything she should've been taught in those 6 hours we paid Karen for. Most likely due to the fact that they would make stops for Karen and time was used up. I highly suggest you do not use KBees Driving School.. Read Less
