When I moved here from NYC, I definitely needed my license so I booked my driving lessons with this school. I've never had driving experience in the past. I had 6 lessons with Norm, and he is a fantastic instructor and has a great sense of humor! Norm taught me to drive in the real world and how to pass the driving test.He was always patient, and thoroughly explained everything to me. On the first day, we spent as much as time needed going over what the symbols in the car mean, when to use it, and how to adjust the seat, review mirror, side mirrors and even the steering wheel. Throughout the lessons, I also learned how to use proper communication with the car to let other drivers know what I'm doing.During the last two lessons, Norm took me to the driving test route, helped me with parallel parking, and regular parking (in the parking lot).On test day, this school allows you to use their car. The price is the same as a regular lesson. I didn't get Norm because he was all booked for the day so I got Joseph Davis instead. I practiced one last time with Joseph for 30 mins before the test, and he is also very patient. I passed my test with a 98 on the first try!PRICE & PAYMENT:- $99 for a 2-hour lesson.- If you wanted to run errands during the lesson, Norm is totally cool with that which makes it more exciting than driving around non-stop for 2 hours.- Payment is either cash or square cash, and you pay right after your lesson is over.PICKUP & DROPOFF:- They pick you up and drop you off anywhere you want!OFFICE STAFF:- Even the office staff who call you to confirm your lesson is very nice and friendly. If they call, and you have the chance to answer, they'll even text you, and you can confirm through text.Overall, I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is either a new driver or needs a refresher course. Good if you know how to drive like your parents already let you drive, etc, but bad if you never drive before. They ok if you get to drive with your parents or friends, because if you already know how to drive - then they will teach you the rules for safe driving and passing the test....   But they have no patience and not very helpful if you try to learn "from scratch" and never drove before, because they expect you to drive flawlessly in couple of lessons - and they will  correct you very hard every single time when its bit far from perfect... which makes some people, like me, afraid driving...feel like I was never learn and should not drive.I took lessons from them year ago, and didn't pass my test and actually start afraid driving. We're in the midst of having my son learn to drive with Silver State, and thus far the experience has been outstanding. My son really likes Norman, his instructor. Norman is patient and has a lot of good tips and ideas for making driving easy and fun, especially for a new driver. We'll have a few more lessons before my son goes for his license. I had an appointment today at 10 a.m. and I never received a confirmation call prior to appointment as promised . So I called them at 7 a.m. to find out they cancelled my appointment. I never received a call or any notice and I made this appointment a week ago. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and how rude to just cancel my appointment. Norman my driving teacher is possibly THE BEST driving teacher you could ever ask for!!! He was so patient, kind, never made me feel nervous, taught me at my own pace and made me feel confident. He taught me for the real world not the test because thats what matters and I ended up acing the driving test 100% because of Norman!! From the start I wasn't so confident about getting on the road, but once I took lessons from this academy that confidence built up every session. Well, today marks a very eventful day for me. I passed my driving test with a 92. All thanks to Norman, my driving instructor. Before I had him, the word "driving" didn't sound so appealing to me. Apprehension and nervousness overcame me. Once, I had multiple practices with Norman, I felt more comfortable and knowledgable about the rules and regulation of driving and just with driving itself. He was able to show me real life driving in which I appreciated because it taught me a lot. It taught me that certain things can't be taught in the book and it must be experienced. With Norman, you get all that. You don't only get a helpful driving experience but you also get a friend who you can enjoy your driving experience with. He didn't make things hard for you and most practices I had with him, I felt that I was just driving with a friend, which really helped me especially for a person who gets nervous easily. With Norman, he made sure that you were comfortable and at the same time he knows what you need and he will give you exactly just that. My name Is Skylar, & I just recently had been taking driving lessons from this academy. And I couldn't of been happier! Joseph was my instructor and he was simply amazing! He was so patient with me and honestly nothing is worse than someone yelling or being impatient with your learning process. And he was so great to me and really helped me out and I couldn't of been more appreciative this driving school is highly recommended in my book! I don't even know where to start. The service is amazing, the price is pretty good when you consider everything you learn as well. My driving instructor, Norman, was particularly amazing. He didn't only teach me how to pass the test for my driver's license, but also how to drive in real life situations. He showed me tricks to learn how to parallel park, change lanes, know if you can make a yellow light or not, how to properly brake, ways to notice your speed limit, adjust your mirrors. From my first lesson up to my fifth lesson, Norman was always giving me great tips and tricks to make driving easy. He was super understanding and kind when offering advice on what to do and I never once felt uneasy. He made sure I was comfortable and made sure that I understood what I was doing. Quite frankly, it got to the point I was no longer driving with my instructor, but instead with a very helpful friend. The flexibility offered by this driving school is also great. If I needed to be somewhere, be picked up someplace different, things could always be arranged. I have to say, I passed my test and I feel pretty confident when I'm driving so I definitely recommend this driving school. I am so glad I happened to choose this particular Driving School on my first attempt, within so many in Las Vegas. I took four two hour classes with Joe and passed the DMV road test at 93% on the fifth lesson. When I wanted to refresh my driving skills two years later before buying a car, I knew that this will be the only place I turn to. My previous instructor wasn't there but I got Joseph. I was expecting to take at least a few lessons, as I never drove in my life besides on the course with Silver State Driving Academy, but he was such a wise teacher that I felt completely confident driving in the end of the day. He got to my place even before the time. Additionally to being reliable, but not least importantly, he is a very kind, fun person, as well as a skilled driver and an outstanding teacher. My daughter had already done her hours but I wanted someone else to teach her how to parallel park as well as give her a "test" like she would be taking at the DMV.  I felt she needed to drive with a complete stranger so she would know what it felt like when she took the real test.  Norman showed up at the house early, was very professional and my kid said she had never been so relaxed as when she was driving with him.  He asked her to let him know how she did on the test and she texted him from the DMV (she got a 97) and he knew who she was and was very pleased for her.  It meant a lot to her that he cared.  Ask for Norman!!!!
