I looked into this school for my husband back in October and found it kind of pricey. When we had consultation back in October they told us they have Morning and night class, but when March came around not only did they NOT have night classes but the price went up as well. So I ended up finding a local school in town for $3500 and only $500 up front and $3000 due on the last week of school giving night classes in my husbands schedule and in a week of school he's already gotten his permit from DMV and already job placement!!! Check out southwest Trucking! They are not only very informative during the initial school appointment of signing up but he was so informative that we spent 2 hours on asking questions and going over things that no other truck company does for you. The cherry on top of the cake is that Southwest Trucking is a 3rd party CDL testing...so you use their trucks and test on site. RTDS doesn't! You can only use their trucks. Rip off for +$6000. This place has been great. Teach you from beginning to end all the rules that you need to know to pass the test. Weekends classes are great because of my schedule. Thank you for everything RTDS Truck Driving School. I always thought that I was never going to obtain my Commercial Class A because I didn't know how to drive stick shift. But since the first time I called the school they gave me hope and said they teach you how to drive stick shift. And look at me now... a commercial Driver. Pass my driving test on the first try. I was very nervous the first day I attended the school. I felt the instructors weren't going to have patience with me but I quickly found out that they make learning a lot of fun and less stressful. best school in USA, very good instructors, very good studding material, very affordable i took the 3 day express course and pass the Skill test from the first time with very few mistakes just because the instructor was very good and have more then 15 years experience in driving big truck teaching and testing.
