The best in the industry! Learned so much and improved beyond what i thought was possible. Pushed me to my physical and mental limits, and helped me get break through those limits! The instructors were top notch and so was the training. The two senior instructors were excellent (Craig and Guy) and the other instructors were amazing as well (patrick and rich) there was an initial housing issue for me while there but the office staff and VP were on it and maintained constant communication with me. My name is John Riddle. I own Progressive Self Defense Systems, a self defense school in South Florida. I'm a retired Police Officer of 28 years with 16 of those in SWAT, and other specialized areas. Throughout my career and into my self defense and shooting career I have attended many training schools to improve my skills. My buddy and I attended a Counter -Kidnapping Course for the weekend back in November at CRI. Out of the blue I called CRI and spoke to Jason Brooks. Laura is very supportive and was there to explain what we didn't understand. Sheldon and Rich were so helpful and effective in teaching us what we needed to know. My granddaughter left feeling positive and confident about being able to protect herself and escape. The Women's Self Defense is a must for everyone (10-92) and it help me to remind myself what I need to do. Times have changed and I am no spring chicken; I want to know what to do. I attended the PSD/Advanced Bodyguard Course. As a prior combat veteran and active LEO I had high standards for tactical training. Without question, this course was worth every minute. We did things I was never taught- either in the Marines or at my department- because they were deemed "unsafe" by leadership. I tried to use my GI Bill and register to take one of there courses. I mentioned that all the paperwork was overwhelming and no other school required as much. I've been to a lot of schools, utilizing my GI Bill. Christian was extremely rude and lacks people skills. They are by far the most unprofessional, dishonest people I've ever had the misfortune of communicating with. DO NOT GO HERE, INSTEAD GO TO ESI OR EPI. As a prior SWAT Officer, current Criminal Investigator and Army Reservist, I have been through hundreds of hours of tactical, police and military training. I attended the 4-day Anti-terrorism for High Risk Course with an open mind and excited to learn new tactics. I was not disappointed. The staff of CRI was incredibly professional and knowledgeable on Israeli tactics that actually work in a stressful situation. The course included SERE training, Combatives, tactical shooting... with pistols/M4/AK47’s, and much more. I learned valuable techniques that may not necessarily be pretty, but using them will allow me to survive almost any encounter and go home safely. I recommend this course to all civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel who want to place their survival in their own hands when confronted in a deadly situation.
