I did my test yesterday with Mrs. Jennifer Menendez. She was super great. She was so friendly and with her, my stressed had gone right away. She has super nice personality. Besides, she is so professional in her job. I am not telling this because I passed. Even if I failed, I would definitely write the same. I strongly suggest this company for diving tests. Just notice that there are 2 addresses assigned to the testing place in google map. Be careful to follow the correct one. You have to write the name of "Able testing Co" in the google map as well to guide to the right place. Read Less

Wife completed her driving test with Able Testing earlier today. Professional, efficient operation. (So at least you'll pass or fail quickly.) Staff is easy to work with. A word of caution: if you follow your GPS to their business address, you'll land in a high school parking lot. Their business address is - literally - the high school parking lot. Great place to take your very first road test! My instructor Halley was very calm, professional, and overall a nice guy. He gave me good tips regarding my future driving and passed me after a non-stressful road test. I reside in AA and Ypsi was unfamiliar, but he gave me straightforward instructions way in advance, so no weird surprises. Plus, the testing site is huge; great place to practice parking when there's no testing going on. (Popular site, so there's always another car practicing, but you can take turns. This review is in reference to the owner, Bob Harvey and not a reflection of the fine employee's at Able Testing, who I might add, after learning first hand how they are treated, should seek employment else where. Mr. Harvey's racist opinions of his Indian customers is something to be disgusted with and I for one will not allow some one like this to profit off of my hard earned money and that of my friends. Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option. The level of professionalism is non existent. Racism and sexism seem more than prevalent and stem from the owner on down. Not something I want my children exposed to even if only for an hour while testing. Luckily I have options and will take my children elsewhere. If you don't mind your child being exposed to vulgar explicit conversation from inbred red necks then by all means this is the place for you. Read Less

The best thing about this company is its service. You can make quick appointments online with email notifications which are not available in a lot of other places such as Ann Arbor Driving school. Just took my road test with mindy. She made me feel absolutely comfortable and calm. She was so very nice and took her time to explain things. Very satisfied with my experience. I called all the testing centers and scheduled a test for my daughter with Able.  They told me all the papers that I needed however we were moving and I misplaced my daughters green card that  she needed.  Greg was really nice and allowed me to reschedule without any problems.  When we were able to do the test Greg was real kind and patient he was an awesome tester.  I would recommend him to anyone. I have recommended Able Testing to several friends and realized I should come post a review!  We went through All Star when my oldest was taking her driving test, but decided to check out Able this time around at the recommendation of a friend.  We will definitely be using Able again when it is time for my youngest to take her turn.  My son was very nervous, but Greg put him at ease right away.  He was very professional but also very friendly and easy going.  It was a much less stressful environment than what my oldest experienced.  Greg's directions were clear and easy to follow, and he offered constructive feedback in a very helpful and encouraging way.  I also appreciated that I could schedule the road test on the website with a specific instructor so we knew who to expect when we arrived. I've been told Greg was a really nice guy they but they switched my instructor. During my road test, the instructor kept screaming at me when giving instructions. I was already nervous about taking the test and the sudden yellings made it worse. I had a friend who've been driving for work over a decade in the back seat because I was told I can bring a translator. The instructor doesn't even let him translate with his non-stop yelling.Following the test, They couldn't give me any other reason to fail me except that I was going a few miles too slow during a curve after exiting the highway (which my friend disagreed, but what can we do. I wish we recorded the whole thing). If I want the detailed report on why I failed, I have to wait Three months! In the meanwhile, I could go ahead and schedule a re-testing...... NOT!I schedule my road test with another company next day and passed the exam with no issue. Read Less

DONT GO THERE...beware....the testers are cheaters and they get word from their sponsors to Fail you, if told so.  They pick and choose who start off where they left off at during re-testing and they're sometimes racist lol and one of the instructors took a piss outside during my pre-trip lol ikr..very shady company. DONT GO THERE... you been warned. The testing instructors lacks integrity. They pick and choose who can start off where they left off at during re-testing..they passed an old white guy who knocked down 2 front cones during a 90 test lol then fail me for silly reasons. He told me to start over for no reason and when I questioned it, he said I was arguing with him = huh, lol....they give white people big breaks and test very hard on blacks = hmm? Read Less

We had a very impersonal, unprofessional tester for my child's driving test. Unclear directions, which were misleading and designed for my child to fail the test. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Read Less
