I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter heard positive feedback from friends and we scheduled our appointment online. By scheduling online, we could find the best time to fit our busy schedule and was super easy. Not knowing what to expect, Laura was very polite and ensured my daughter was comfortable by explaining the driving maneuvers that she had to complete before taking the road portion of the test. Laura didn't try to trick my daughter during the road test. She explained step by step where she wanted my daughter to drive, ensuring safety came first. After the road test Laura took the time to debrief my daughter by going over each of her observations to ensure my daughter understood her score with a focus on safety. All in all, great job! I would definitely recommend Kenney Company to anyone looking to take their driving test. I couldn't take it the first time I came there because of some bureaucratic specifics I wasn't aware of (I am not a first-time driver, I'm converting my out-of-state license). Laura and Steve were understanding enough not to charge me the $25 no show-up fee. Last weekend, after sorting everything out, I came there again and passed my driving test with Laura. She was friendly and nice, it felt like we were two old friends on a road trip. Laura made sure to give me instructions way in advance. After the road test, Laura walked me through her notes and was very detailed in that. Steve, the owner, is such a kind person and is VERY understanding and lenient with most situations. The woman I took my drivers test with (Laura) is a very helpful person to drive with. I took a road test with Kenney on a Monday at 9 AM and had a great experience. I drove with Laura and she was a very nice instructor, calm, and great at explaining where to go.
