I took my drivers test here about a year ago, it was my second test, i failed my first one with a company who never passes people. I would recommend Kinnie driving school, although Steve isn't very conversational, and he is a bit rude, he passed me and I wasn't quite sure i deserved to be passed. (I turned left into a one way going right twice) i figured that would have failed me. However he didnt tell me if I passed I was very nervous I went back into his office and he smiled and congratulated me... overall, great place for me. Read Less

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This was a horrible experience! Rob Wolchek needs to have someone go under cover and put Steve, (the rude instructor) in The Hall Of Shame! Doesn't introduce himself. I heard him make a phone call and leave his name. Otherwise, we wouldn't know it. His instructions are vague on the parking test. During the road test, he was rude, annoyed when asked questions. My son went through the whole road test, with 1 mistake, and failed. To top it off, we didn't know my son failed until we got out of the car thinking we were going to get signed paperwork only to be told "I'm going to my office, finishing paperwork, going to Target, then going home". I asked if my son should follow him to get his signed paper, and he gave me a stupid look and said "no, your son failed". I'm frustrated, irritated, and pisst off! He told me to come back in 24 hours and pay another $30.00. Fox 2 News, PLEASE DO AN INVESTIGATION. They are ripping people off. Read Less

I had the worst ever experience there with my daughter. Steve (I think that was his name... he never even introduced himself...) was incredibly rude. He talked to my daughter as if she was five years old. He told her that if she had a question, she could ask him. But when she asked a simple question just to clarify something about the parking section, he answered her very rudely. My daughter is a good driver and was very well prepared for her road test. Parking was a iffy, especially parallel parking. However, she technically passed the parking portion (which was first). But because her parking "just wasn't good enough", HE DID NOT EVEN LET HER GO ON THE ROAD. I paid $45 dollars for LITERALLY 5 MINUTES of a "road test" that my daughter did not even get to technically complete. I would never in a million years recommend this company to another young driver. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced, and I can't believe how unprofessionally they handle driving tests. Read Less

He just 'tells' where the lady called Judy , with whom I took the test twice, she 'yells'. Steve didn't behave like an examiner but a cool co driver. My daughter took her road test this past Tuesday. If Steve (I think this was the examiner's name. He didn't introduce himself and his signature on the certificate is illegible.) does your exam, don't expect much explanation. So a heads up: after he mumbles "Go get in the car and pull around back" and you find him standing amidst a bunch of cones, what you're supposed to do is pull up to the line painted on the ground at his feet. Then listen carefully, there's some sort of explanation as to how to proceed with the parking section of your test. During the road portion of her test, he was a little easier to understand, but again, not much there by way of personality. While he offered to answer questions, his answers are muttered, condescending and rude. My daughter passed her test, but it was only because she was able to anticipate what was required and is a decent driver, because it seemed "Steve" was trying to fail her the moment he took her paperwork and cash. I took my road test at Kinnie's today, and the instructor (Steve, I think, he didn't even introduce himself) completely made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by coming in for my test. He didn't explain anything on the parking section and acted like I was stupid when I didn't know what to do or what lines to approach. Although I passed, he was extremely rude while on the road and despite him saying that he would answer any questions during the drive, when I asked one he replied with a condescending remark under his breath that didn't answer my question. I am a CDL-A driver. I know a good driver when a ride with them. My wife is a good dtiver. I am extremely picky. If you can control a vehicle in such a manner, not for a blind folded person to know if you are accelerating, turning or stopping, then you are being safe in all driving conditions. That is the standard I train to. The examiner could tell. The examiner from a different company had intentionally failed her at a cost of $45. I know this because she scored 48 when the maximum to pass was 25. The strange thing was that he recommended she return the next day. Wait a minute!!!! I was born at night; not last night. One day she is determined to be dangerous and she is invited to drive again without a long period of remedial training? This company is reputable and recommended. Read Less
