Instructors are great for the most part. The great instructors that I've met so far are Smithy, Craig, Dean, Tom, Joe. Some of them can be rude and mean at times, but funny and great to talk to and get advice from at other times. They all have their own style of teaching. Their class room teacher, Irene, is great. You'll learn a lot from her. Easily got my permit due to her. Trucks are old, but it's understandable. As students, we ruin the trucks, as we're new to driving them. It will, however, take time to learn how to use them, as they're all different. Cafeteria isn't the cleanest. Same for the restrooms.
However, the point of the school is to learn how to drive a truck. You will learn how to do that from this school. Like I said, the instructors are great. They'll explain what you're doing wrong. You'll be in and out within around 3 weeks to a month or as long as you need.
4 stars, because you will learn pretty well from this school. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn to drive a truck.
Smitty and Joe are tremendous instructors. Smitty is a yard instructor. He will do a great job in explaining maneuvers, instructing you on what to do and why. And he can explain what you did wrong.
Joe is a road instructor. He is probably my favorite. He's really funny and is great at explaining why you should do certain things. He's calm and explains how to drive in a way that will resonate with you. Read Less
