After real experiencing the different services and attitudes from different driving schools, I have to say it is NOT wise to choose the Driving Right Training School for your road test. The frustrating lady made me really frustrated and ended with a frustrating memory. But for an applicant, all you need should be clear instructions before taking the test and understanding attitude to ease your tension. So that you can be yourself and concentrate in what you are doing. To be instructive and helpful instead of building up a picky atmosphere is the right way to serve. Read Less

I took 7 hours of driving lessons from Zach, Driving Right training school. Since I come from South Korea, I was not good at English much, but he tried to speak a bit slowly, so it was easy to understand. And also, I was scary and nervous before taking lessons, but he taught really kind and gentle. He taught me the driving is not difficult that much and even interesting stuff. I had the most horrible experience taking my road test. I was incredibly nervous during the test and at multiple points while driving together, the instructor Mike took the wheel out of my hands so I would change lanes faster. After that it caused me greater anxiety and I began shaking. He was short with me and very rude. At one point, he made me pull over and I kid you not, he said to me, "What is wrong with you? Are you on anything? Did you take stupid pills this morning?" After trying to explain the reason for being nervous, he told me nervous wasn't a valid reason to be driving like I was-- I wasn't going fast enough at a few points and being "too" cautious with lane changing. I was humiliated that he insulted me, it was very unprofessional. I am devastated that this was my experience getting my drivers license. I ended up sobbing in the car after he left. I would never recommend driving with this instructor or this company. I am 22 years old, I can't imagine how humiliating or horrifying this would be for someone who is 16 years old. Something I really enjoyed about class was how energetic the instructor, Zack! It was mostly endearing and only gave me headaches when i was /really/ tired. My driver, Mrs.Neff, was great! I have four children who have learned to drive through Driving Right Training School. The owner, Claudia Roder, uses experienced instructors, any of whom will make sure your student is well-trained to drive. The instructors for the road test are very kind and know how to set the student at ease. This school has the right balance between being strict with students (we all want to know our children are well-prepared for the road) and being respectful and kind toward them in that process. I'm posting a complaint on all review websites because seriously, this place scared me from driving for a long time. The instructor yelled and berated me for not knowing how to drive. She would grabe my wheel, yell at me to not fight with her when she grabbed the wheel and put me in driving situations not appropriate for first time drivers. Just don't do it. Judging by older reviews, this school has improved greatly. Passed driving test on first try here. Mr. John was the most amiable and considerate evaluator. He is observant about minor overspeeding, slight parking deviations, little rough maneuvering but he lets off with warning but no penalties. His prompt response to any queries and helpful suggestions during tests taught me a lot. His vibe is similar to that of George RR Martin .... warm and cordial guarantees test in relaxed manner. The same incident happened to me today (with the same instructor, which indeed happen to be the owner), except that I was the one taking the driving test, got angry at him, and he ended up apologizing. This place is the worst! During my daughter's driving test, the driving instructor (who happens to be the owner) continued to scream at me in the back seat and insult me until my daughter finally pulled over and started crying, she couldn't continue. This was about 5 yrs. ago, but I still feel disgusted by the incident when I think about it. I did ABSOLUTLY nothing to make him behave this way. I spoke with someone at the Traffic Safety Commission shortly after and although they agreed that it was totally unprofessional behavior, they could only apologize. I was forced by the system to give a star but they deserve no stars. I ended up taking my other daughter to Mr. R's, much better experience. Read Less

This place is the Worst......Its their family business and they wantedly fail you so that....you will be forced to take classes from them....they wantedly trick you so that you fail in your exam...No practicing driver is perfect....but they wont make you pass the test untill u become perfect(which is only by taking classes from them)....they have their own rules to follow......they add more rules than the state law.....when i failed the test I asked him the reason....and he gave me all the stupid reasons possible(which are not in the state law)....and when i asked him more...he said..he dont remember it......these people suck....IF U WANT LICENCE DONT EVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE.....
