Attended the intro to mig/arc classes last spring. They were well organized, the knowledgeable instructors were personable and happy to share their experience. The equipment was brand new, and we had plenty of time for hands-on practice of what was taught. Definitely worth the small investment to get exposure to an interesting skill. Read Less

I honestly didnt know what to expect but everyone was nice, I took the Forklift training class everyone was very professional, the instructors gave us alot of valuable information I highly recommend this Center and I will be back for more classes thank you so much for the learning experience! I love this concept but no i was not there yesterday or any other day. I have never been there but soon will be when i can get transpotation. My house need much work and i would love to do it myself to save money. Or you guys can use my house as a training ground. I would love it. Read Less

In November of 2016, I decided I wanted to learn how to drive an 18-wheeler. Well, a few weeks later I was thrilled to say that I had enrolled at the Detroit Training Center in January 2017. Because of my successful completion of the vigorous program(s) I now have a multitude of new opportunities that have opened up before me. Since my enrollment began at DTC I've received my CDL-A driver's license - a HAZMAT, Double and Triple trailers, and Tanker endorsements, an OSHA 30 ...certification, and a RRP Lead safe certification from the EPA. The instructors for the truck driving class, led by Tom Mueller, all appeared to love their jobs, and it showed! They were all professional and I also found them to very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their collective experiences in the trucking world with the class. In a nutshell, basically there are lots of amazing things happening at DTC, and I'm just glad that I've been able to capitalize on at least some of them. Real talk. One of the best, if not the best training facility the city of Detroit has to offer, dedication, professionalism, attention to detail and overall attention to the students, the training staff is the best of the best, second to none ,if they can't teach you then you then you have to take a look at yourself and ask yourself what am I doing wrong?
