I got my license through these guys approximately 2 years ago and my sister is also getting her license through them. They sort of lack professionalism from the look of their office on burncoat street to the way the lady talks to her customers but I was able to look past that because they are still good at teaching you the rules of the road and most of their students actually pass the driving test Read Less

Would not really recommend going here. In the classes you don't really learn much. You learn about Becky's life. Occasionally you'll learn something but it's mostly about Becky. It's fun if you have good people in your class. There was one guy that I drove with, super rude when I made mistakes. Another instructor has the car reeking of cigarettes all the time. Tommy I believe his name was, awesome guy, enjoyed lessons with him. He made me sit outside his house a few times while he got food or whatever he was getting. A few times my lessons were cut short because I lived in Holden and apparently it was sooooo far (not really). And lastly, my road test was canceled and rescheduled AT LEAST 3 times. It was ridiculous. I wouldn't really recommend going here, it's a driving school but all in all I feel like I didn't learn much. Oh and if you don't know answers on the written test you have to pass, they'll give them to you. Didn't really take the place serious to be honest. Read Less

don't go there, when i first went to Becky driving school i thought It was going to be a good school where i can actually learn something but the time when i had my road lessens the first instructor was very rude to me since i was a new DRIVER because i made some minor mistakes, other that the second time when i had road lessons the instructor seem unprofessional( First and second instructors), the car smelled like something straight out of a horror movie with the bad cigarette smell, i wanted to not drive because it smelled bad !!!!. On November 1st they unexpectedly schedule me to take my road test even though i only had 3 road lessons, i didn't pass because of their lack of teaching to me and to the other students, i noticed how other students who went to the classrooms did at least better than me but by far i would say don't go there, i prefer to learn driving if i had someone who actually knows what he/she is doing than making it seem like I know it all. I was glad i stopped going there since they just care about your money than actually teaching the students, that time I turned 18, now im looking for a better driving school to go to where i can really learn something since I practiced driving around my school parking lot which was better than wasting your time at Becky driving school Read Less

I got in, handed her my permit, and she told me to drive. If i did something wrong she didn't tell me what i did, she would just yell and have an attitude with me. She showed me how to parallel park only one time, had me pick up other student drivers, and was on the phone half the time talking about her personal life. Also talking to the other student driver in the car with me that she had me pick up about her personal life and her husband "cheating on her" Worse experience ever! Such a waste! She was so rude. Will you people ever take your job seriously? You are easily the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. Becky shows up late, slowly tries to give me cancer through second hand smoke, talks on the phone, yells every syllable that leaves her mouth, shows up looking unprofessional like the rest of her "staff", has me sit outside the school for 15 minutes while she does whatever it is she does in there while I should be learning how to um... drive?, has me drive on THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD TO PROVE A POINT, doesn't show up to scheduled driving lesson appointments, is rude and has no class. And that's only the actual driving. In the class I got to experience an AA meeting and Sx ed all in one giant waste of 30 hours of my life. And now... because she takes my slow learning for "not listening" or "giving attitude" I get put at the bottom of the list? Is this a joke? How do you people get authorized by the state? Are you actually certified? Why did I waste 550 dollars on you? You people waste my time waste my money and are poor examples of whatever it is you claim to be. Becky's Driving School is well worth it; being in a convenient location (major street of the highway and wicked close to Burncoat High) and it's low price, you also get a good quality education. The instructors have a unique, unconventional teaching style that you would never expect coming from a driver's ed class. They make you feel at home which provides a calm and casual environment. Their sense of humor helps you enrich yourself with all the rules of the road, which you probably can't do if class is boring (and Becky's never is boring).Despite what rumors say, they do take driver's education very seriously. You apply all the rules, signs and driving methods you learned in the 30 hour classroom instruction and practice them physically into 12 hours worth of road lessons. They aren't afraid of yelling at you if you run through a 4-way intersection with stop signs haphazardly (which I did, shame on me). This way, you can correct all the dangerous, stupid shit you've done and learn how to drive safely. My road test is coming up in a few weeks and I'm happy that I will take it with them in the school car (does cost $85) and I'm quite satisfied that they really efficiently taught me how to parallel park, reverse and do 3-point turns along with hand signals and general driving (thank you, Gina). If you're a complete nervous wreck like me when it comes to driving, definitely make this place your go to for driver's ed.
