CS Driving School provided a truly wonderful experience for our family. We especially appreciated their user-friendly online platform, which made scheduling and communicating with their office a breeze. Lisa and Laura were outstanding; their support was instrumental in helping our daughter get her license. We can't recommend them enough, and we found the cost to be well worth the investment

I tried two other driving schools before CS Driving and found the instructors to be inattentive and uncommunicative. With CS Driving, I was assigned Bill Golden as my instructor and he is the absolute best. He was always very encouraging and attentive, and gave feedback that was on point. He worked with me to master the skills I wanted to work on at my own pace. He took the time to explain why a particular driving task seemed confusing or counterintuitive. I could see my driving ability improve after each lesson with him. I highly recommend CS Driving and Bill Golden!

In our experience, the driving instruction at CS Driving school was alternately reckless, abusive, and neglectful. One instructor took my teen daughter onto the highway on her second lesson when she was nowhere near ready, terrifying her while laughing at her fear. The school's owner Anna Sabatino spent one lesson yelling at my daughter, belittling her, and tearing her down. At the end of the 12-lesson package, when my daughter needed to work on parallel parking for the upcoming road test, a CS instructor had her just drive around without practicing parking, while he ignored her and watched sports on his cellphone. Shortly afterwards, my daughter failed her first road test due to parallel parking. The CS staff present at the CS-sponsored road test said that CS would call us to schedule a second road test, but no one ever called. We left CS and went to a different driving school (Middlesex Driving Academy in Winchester), where my daughter had two brush-up lessons with an excellent instructor who built up her confidence, practiced parking repeatedly, and helped her pass her second road test easily. I wish we had gone to Middlesex in the first place! On top of all of the problems with driving instruction, CS Driving has terrible scheduling issues which they rudely refuse to acknowledge or fix, claiming that all schools have the same issue. However, my younger child is now at Middlesex Driving Academy which has a much more logical and fair sign-up system that actually allows for one lesson per week without a problem. Avoid CS Driving Academy! There are sound reasons for the many bad reviews.

My son signed up for classes when he was 16. He got a driver’s education class as part of a bundle, which helped him get his permit. However, he was unable to sign up for any driving classes, despite us paying around $899 for the whole thing. We attempted to contact the school multiple times, but we were met with no response every time we reached out. I would not recommend this school to anyone who has a busy schedule or a fast-paced lifestyle.

We are very thankful to Anna and her amazing team. They are thorough in teaching the young drivers what is needed to be safe on the roads. My son enjoyed the classroom learning as much as he enjoyed chatting with his driving instructors. Lisa was very helpful in ensuring my son stayed on task with his driving hours. CS was very flexible with my son’s demanding schedule. Thank you CS!!!!

Common Sense Driving is a whole different and excellent business than the others.
Our son used Brookline Driving because they picked up at school. We heard multiple horror stories of abusive, careless, lazy, dangerous, and downright dishonest instructors from him. Friend told us similar stories from Newton Driving. We chose CS Driving School for our daughter.
When we found CS Driving it seemed less convenient ... until we understood their system. Part of their common sense is that they arrange so that the first driver's lesson involves driving to the second driver's house for pickup. Then the first driver switches and gets those annoying observation hours as they get driven home. So, super convenient, actually!
Unlike the other schools, they have a well designed online scheduling system. They send reminders and can update your calendar. Wow, just like it's 2018!
This is a family owned and run business. They hire instructors with great energy. The owner, Anna Sabatino, is brilliant and funny, which is nice when you take the parent class. Our daughter's instructions have been fun! They really care about teaching safety, skills, and about their reputation as a business.
No comparison. CS Driving School is exceptional.

The owner is taking care of each student with a spacial support. This is a one place with a personal touch. We are the 3nd becoming drivers of this school. Just got my license with this driving school yesterday April 11th.My driving lesson was awesome this is the best driving school ive ever been to.the owner and the instructors always make sure the confidence in you is at a high level.Arsenio was my instructor he was awesome he always made sure you had the techniques at a high level .Laura makes sure that you will show up for the road test and takes pride in her work everyone at that school does.they always make sure your prepared.my advice to anyone who wants to look for a driving school stop looking go to CS driving school you wont regret it!!!!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience with CS Driving School. I had minimal prior driving experience and I was able to pass the test in the first attempt after taking 12 behind-the-wheel lessons (plus lots of practice in the evenings and weekends). Anna is an excellent instructor; she is professional, punctual, amicable and pushed me to achieve my goal of getting my drivers license in the first attempt. Also a special thanks to Laura for scheduling classes with Anna based on my progress. I highly recommend CS Driving School.

CS is amazing, they are always on the ball. From the very first time I contacted them they have been pleasant and well organized. They have more cars than other driving schools and both my sons were fully satisified, they heard about other programs but all their friends recommended this odriving school. I can tell you they save me a lot of time and made the process virtually painless. Their prices are very reasonable and so easy to pay and sign up. Very patient people and very responsive. Absolutely the Best!

I rarely give 5 stars to anything - CS Driving well deserves it. They are a well run business, have fair pricing and most importantly have got the formula right for producing successful driving students. They know how to handle teens and keep them engaged - my daughter learned a lot in both the classroom and practical driving contexts and enjoyed doing it (and just passed her on the first try). Everyone I've dealt with at CS have been excellent and special callout + thanks to Anna and Laura!

I never write reviews but felt the need to write this one. My family has used 3 different driving schools and CS is by far the best one. They are very organized and you can always get a hold of someone on the phone. When you call they are extremely helpful. My son has liked the instructors both classroom and behind the wheel. The website is easy to use and very informative. By far the best around!

CS Driving school is great. The classroom teachers are interesting and fun (according to my son). The driving teachers are always punctual, deliver the same consistent message on how to drive, and they are good teachers. Scheduling is a breeze with their online student portal and phone calls are always answered. The owners listen to the needs of their students. My son just took his road test last week and passed with flying colors. We will be back with the next two kids!

My son Ben is the second of my three sons to do his driver training with CS Driving School. He just passed the road test on Sunday and I can't say enough great things about the partnership in getting him to this great point, especially as compared to the driving school who worked with my oldest son six years ago. CS Driving took a personal interest in Ben's success and approached his training at an appropriate pace and speed for his needs, in close partnership with me as the parent. Together, we trained a safe, competent driver who is now ready to be off on his own. I would like to highlight Anna's patience "on the road" and Laura's responsiveness to questions, scheduling issues, etc. I highly recommend CS Driving to all!

Put it this way---it would be virtually impossible to find a better driving school. Case in point? Our son! You see, despite being incredibly bright, he loathes school and anything remotely associated with it! So, just the thought of "school" or opening yet another book, God forbid, has him running for the hills! However, because he needed to take driver's ed, he acquiesced to do the intensive one week program here, to just get it over with. Well, my husband and I were pleasantly shocked to see just how much he actually enjoyed it. The reason why? One word: Ana ! Yes, Ana, the owner, is such a wondrous mix of all good things one needs to be to work with teenage boys-- silly, dynamic, theatrical, sarcastic, creative,---and cunning enough to be smarter than them! When all is said and done, no matter where you go the curriculum will be the same. So why not pick a driving school where your child will learn AND enjoy it? With a touch of motherly concern and keen teenage brain insight, (from raising teenagers herself), win some points with your teenager by singing him or her up today! Oh, an added bonus is her lovely daughter Laura who does all of the administrative duties. Her courtesy and professionalism is second to none! Looks as though the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree! (wink)

CS Driving School provided a truly wonderful experience for our family. We especially appreciated their user-friendly online platform, which made scheduling and communicating with their office a breeze. Just got my license with this driving school yesterday April 11th.My driving lesson was awesome this is the best driving school ive ever been to.the owner and the instructors always make sure the confidence in you is at a high level.Arsenio was my instructor he was awesome he always made sure you had the techniques at a high level .Laura makes sure that you will show up for the road test and takes pride in her work everyone at that school does.they always make sure your prepared.my advice to anyone who wants to look for a driving school stop looking go to CS driving school you wont regret it!!!!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience with CS Driving School. I had minimal prior driving experience and I was able to pass the test in the first attempt after taking 12 behind-the-wheel lessons (plus lots of practice in the evenings and weekends). Anna is an excellent instructor; she is professional, punctual, amicable and pushed me to achieve my goal of getting my drivers license in the first attempt. Also a special thanks to Laura for scheduling classes with Anna based on my progress. I highly recommend CS Driving School.

CS is amazing, they are always on the ball. From the very first time I contacted them they have been pleasant and well organized. They have more cars than other driving schools and both my sons were fully satisified, they heard about other programs but all their friends recommended this odriving school. I can tell you they save me a lot of time and made the process virtually painless. Their prices are very reasonable and so easy to pay and sign up. Very patient people and very responsive. Absolutely the Best!

I rarely give 5 stars to anything - CS Driving well deserves it. They are a well run business, have fair pricing and most importantly have got the formula right for producing successful driving students. They know how to handle teens and keep them engaged - my daughter learned a lot in both the classroom and practical driving contexts and enjoyed doing it (and just passed her on the first try). Everyone I've dealt with at CS have been excellent and special callout + thanks to Anna and Laura!

I never write reviews but felt the need to write this one. My family has used 3 different driving schools and CS is by far the best one. They are very organized and you can always get a hold of someone on the phone. When you call they are extremely helpful. My son has liked the instructors both classroom and behind the wheel. The website is easy to use and very informative. By far the best around!

CS Driving school is great. The classroom teachers are interesting and fun (according to my son). The driving teachers are always punctual, deliver the same consistent message on how to drive, and they are good teachers. Scheduling is a breeze with their online student portal and phone calls are always answered. The owners listen to the needs of their students. My son just took his road test last week and passed with flying colors. We will be back with the next two kids!

My son Ben is the second of my three sons to do his driver training with CS Driving School. He just passed the road test on Sunday and I can't say enough great things about the partnership in getting him to this great point, especially as compared to the driving school who worked with my oldest son six years ago. CS Driving took a personal interest in Ben's success and approached his training at an appropriate pace and speed for his needs, in close partnership with me as the parent. Together, we trained a safe, competent driver who is now ready to be off on his own. I would like to highlight Anna's patience "on the road" and Laura's responsiveness to questions, scheduling issues, etc. I highly recommend CS Driving to all!

Put it this way---it would be virtually impossible to find a better driving school. Case in point? Our son! You see, despite being incredibly bright, he loathes school and anything remotely associated with it! So, just the thought of "school" or opening yet another book, God forbid, has him running for the hills! However, because he needed to take driver's ed, he acquiesced to do the intensive one week program here, to just get it over with. Well, my husband and I were pleasantly shocked to see just how much he actually enjoyed it. The reason why? One word: Ana ! Yes, Ana, the owner, is such a wondrous mix of all good things one needs to be to work with teenage boys-- silly, dynamic, theatrical, sarcastic, creative,---and cunning enough to be smarter than them! When all is said and done, no matter where you go the curriculum will be the same. So why not pick a driving school where your child will learn AND enjoy it? With a touch of motherly concern and keen teenage brain insight, (from raising teenagers herself), win some points with your teenager by singing him or her up today! Oh, an added bonus is her lovely daughter Laura who does all of the administrative duties. Her courtesy and professionalism is second to none! Looks as though the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree! (wink)
