There are two instructors here. One called pina(apparently the main guy) and another one called zee. I took 4 lessons from this school and $35 per hour. That's $140 plus road test day fee of $100. $240 is not a small amount(and this is separate from what I pay to the rmv. This is just the driving school fee. In cash only). It would be fair if I had received the service I paid for. But i did not. I got all 4 lessons from zee. I have been driving in india for years, so I did not need to learn how to drive. I just needed precise instructions on what to do and what not to do on the test. I never got those instructions from them. I had to ASK and even after that, the instructions I got were incorrect based on what the test taker failed me for. 1. First lesson I asked them if the test would be in the same car as we were practicing. They said yes! "We have only one car and pina will be with you on the test day." 4 weeks later on the test day, it was a different motor driving schools car and a different school instructor. So basically no one and nothing I'm familiar with. 2. While parallel parking, can I make corrections or does it have to be perfect at one shot? He said you can take as much time as you want and make whatever corrections you want. Once you're done, tell the test taker. Well on test day, I wanted to make a correction and park even closer to the curb. Guess what the examiner said? You can't do that. 3. Do I have to place my hand behind the passenger seat while reversing? He said no. You can keep your hand wherever you're comfortable while backing up. So i kept my hands on the wheel. Guess what the examiner said? You're supposed to keep your hand behind the passenger seat. I didn't clear my road test. Pina wasn't even there. So i called him and he's lecturing me about how driving is not about the car it's about logic and following rules. I didn't say anything. He asked me if I wanted to schedule my test for 2 weeks from then. I said not now, hold on. I was upset. I called him a week later trying to point out the lack of service I received for the money I paid hoping that he would understand, and not charge me for the repeat road test. He yelled at me. He said I don't care what you think. If you want another road test you have to pay for it. I can personally take your next lesson if you want but there's not going to be any compensation for whatever you paid for before. I told him if he thinks he can give better instructions than the other guy then why did I pay the same amount for the other guy? If he's incompetent then why is he a trainer? Pina might not be a bad instructor I don't know. I never had his experience. But he's definitely not smart. He's very rude and extremely inconsiderate. And oh, he hung up on me. He should have known in this day and age, its all about reviews. I was holding my bad review back thinking if he was supportive, i would let it go. But this was an extremely extremely bad experience. And a loss of time, effort and money. I will now have to go through a different school and pay the money and the effort all over again. Even if he may not be a bad instructor, is it worth working with someone like this? Read Less
