I am in the market for a driving school and am finally going to learn how to drive as a 20 something! This is in my neighborhood... I thought I should check them out until I saw an instructor parked in the bike lane in Porter Sq right nearby an intersection where a cyclist was killed in the bike lane due to a drivers' negligence. 3 minutes in the car for $135.00 the owner was from Haiti. They didn't even have a good car to do the driver test. I am really mad how this people are stealing with the complicity of the person who makes the road test. I did not pass the test because this people made me nervous. I know how to drive. If there is less than one star i would give this company !!  Instructor is always talking on phone during the lesson and he is also not paying attention to the road taking the middle mirror all the time from the driver . The big thing is that after paying 135$ twice for the exam with him and failing when we went to the RMV  they told us they never received any money from this driving School and we have to pay no show fees for 2 times !!!!!!! Really !!! This is totally scam ! And i will find a way to legally to take an action against them . Read Less

Extremely poor experience with this company. -The coach never comes on time. Cuts the hours that you should have had, and he has all the excuses, like traffic, he was with other person. And he usually would end up he lesson exactly on time.-Had three times he "cancelled" the appointments just because he was late almost 25mins, or maybe he totally forgot, without noticing me until I called him and listened to his excuses.-He "explained" the road test is $135, which is everyone knows the regular road test price is $85. Within 10 hours lessons as the package, $40 for per hour, he asked for $480, includes "discount". See how much he and this company earns from the students.-Every time when I was with him in the lesson, he always making calls, not even pay attention to the way you drive, no contents, no practices, no meaning, only telling you go right or left. -Mostly he spends time around David Sq, Porter Sq and Central. Sometimes Harvard, and people all knows how many traffic lights you need to wait, and that's in your lessons, he wouldn't even care. Really really really bad experience.  I would like to point out that I have several years of driving experience.  I wanted to take a few lessons after I relocated to the US. I was shocked by the appalling quality of instruction. There were several issues which I had with the instructor. 1. The instructor was on the phone for the entire lesson. So I had to listen out for when he would say left turn etc. 2. He ran several errands during the lesson by making me stop at various locations, picking up other students, etc. At one point he wanted me to make an abrupt stop on the corner of a road. I did not feel that it was safe to stop, he then grabbed the steering wheel and swerved the car to stop. He then got out the car and went to collect something. This all happened whilst he was on the phone.3. Also he does not have a separate rear view mirror for him to see out of, so he kept moving the one mirror I had to check the rear view. This was terrible as I could not adequately complete my mirror signal manovure. 4. What is worse is that he did not finish my lesson at my pick up location after the hour was complete. Instead I was dropped off during another students lesson an hour and a half later. I missed a prior appointment I had as a result!5. When I pointed out these issues and explained that I was strongly disappointed the instructor completely denied his lack of instruction and negligence during my lesson. He did not realize his faults. The driver was dishonest. He did not let me drive to the destination that was agreed upon in advance. He also kept changing the terms of payment that were agreed upon in advance. I do not recommend them. Read Less

Pros:-------1) Wilner runs WJO and teaches the classes. He is a good teacher, patient and encouraging. He points out your mistakes and makes you practice.2) Timely. Wilner shows up right on time and at the place you ask him to meet you. I've never had to reschedule.3) Wilner tells you what you need to do to pass road test and has a good success rate - I got my license at my first try with him. Cons:-------1) Road test fee is a bit steep ($100). His charges for lessons are standard ($40/hr). Read Less

I asked them to take me to the road test. The instructor was mean, dishonest and greedy. First he tried to charge me more than what we agreed on. Then he didn't let me touch the car before the test. I was shocked! I began the test without knowing how to work with the car. He doesn't even speak understandable English. Ridiculously, he was trying to schedule some lessons for me after I failed!
