They were awesome to me and really helped with my skills driving and getting on the road. They were happy to work with my schedule and helped me get finished with my hours asap. Mike (the owner) is a really great guy. He went above and beyond to help me and help get my papers turned into the rmv. I have no idea what this one one-star review is talking about, everyone ive dealt with in this company is amazingly helpful and respectful. The instructors are helpful and fun to be around, and the people working the phones are always a pleasure to work with. Let's just say that this driving schools teaching methods and ownership is sub-par. I would recommend to any future teenagers or adults that they choose one of the various other driving schools on the cape that have more experience teaching and are better at it. Yes the school was open for 20 years or so they say however 20 years of repeating the same blunders and failures does not make you good it makes you a bad history lesson. If this system allowed 0 Stars I would absolutely give it that professional might be their name however it is not in their abilities to be professionals the management is disrespectful and untrustworthy and does not fulfill what they say they will do or does what they want to do and does not care about their customers. They are only out to make money despite the fact that they say they are in it to teach young drivers and adults how to drive safely I did not feel like what they were teaching was going to keep me safe. Don't get me wrong some of their instructors are nice and are awesome at what they do, they don't teach as the school will have them teach which is what makes them better instructors. They teach what is necessary but not the script but the management wishes them to teach. However in this company the talents of a few are outweighed by the failures of the many. My experience at Professional Driving School falls Far Below what I expected from a school teaching me such a dangerous task. I chose Professional Driving School originally based on their claim that they were rated one of the number one schools on the cape and in Massachusetts. Yet after failing my road test twice with Professional Driving School I chose to go to another company who showed me what I was doing wrong and why I was having difficulty driving. I was taught skills buy professional that are ineffective and unsafe and this second driving school that I went to taught me systems that make driving easier for me more comfortable and make me more confident driver. I felt much better after relearning several tasks and skills, good in fact that I went to the driving test with my family. After being told by this driving school that I was ready, I felt ready and I knew I was ready. After driving the way I was taught by the second Driving School I passed my road test the third time. Had I known the skills the first time around rather than on my third time I would have needed to take so many extra test or lessons. I would not recommend this school to anyone else. ... mr. Mike your response shows everything that I have already said you think only of yourselves you blame the student when they're not ready or outside sources not yourself and you think you're beyond reproach. I addressed an issue in a review and you attacked my authenticity what a great business owner you are so much for your A+ rating for 8 years. I cannot say enough about Michael and Rory! A little background: Our daughter had a Saturday road test arranged through Newton Driving School for 8/5, and they cancelled it on 7/31, and reschedule her for 9/21! I scrambled, and luckily found a slot at the Yarmouth RMV for 8/1. I wanted to get her a refresher lesson, called a few other schools, and was basically asked if I was crazy. Then I called Professional. The receptionist did not laugh at me, and put me through to Michael, who is either the manager or owner. Michael was genuinely empathetic to our daughter's situation, and promised to do his best to help us. He called back within an hour with the news that Rory could meet us at our house on 8/1 for a lesson!!! Rory stayed later than usual because he wanted to help! He could have easily said no. Rory made certain to review every part of the RMV road test, and gave her confidence a huge boost. SHE PASSED BECAUSE OF THE TERRIFIC PEOPLE AT PROFESSIONAL! Sorry for the caps, but this is not a school where you will be treated like a number. They had no reason to make an effort for us. We were not existing students, we just needed help, and Professional came through. This is a company that deserves your business .Read Less
