This review has nothing to do with driving or with this school's driving instructors. I was just on the phone with their office, and the woman I talked with was rude and impatient. First, this rating has nothing to do with the driving instructors. I thought they were quite patient and wonderful. This review is a direct reflection of the office and its "customer service." These lessons are a bit pricey; sixty dollars an hour. I gladly paid this because as I've said, the instructors were quite good. However, I will never take a lesson here again. The office in Hyannis is filled with awful and incompetent people. Not only are the schedulers rude, but they are unprofessional. I have been trying to schedule a lesson for weeks. Yes, there is an s at the end of that word. For several weeks I have attempted to schedule a lesson with the office in Hyannis. Every time I called the woman was incredibly rude and unprofessional and would not schedule me for a weekend lesson. Now, I know that high school students use the weekends to work on driving, but I work a full time and demanding job. Weekend are quite literally the only time I can take a lesson. Every time I called, the woman refused to schedule me. When I tried to schedule for a week in advance, I was told that lessons cannot be scheduled that far ahead (simply the following weekend) as the schedule for instructors was not yet know. Okay, fine, I can handle that. I called back per her instructions the following week. This time I was told that I obviously did not understand how the scheduling worked and that I needed to call the week prior to schedule a lesson for the weekend I wanted. Now, tell me, how is that possible if I was told the week before that they could not possibly do this? This has happened several times. I followed their instructions completely and yet I was told it was my fault. This office is so incredibly rude and disrespectful. Do not give them your money. They have no people skills and obviously do not care about delivering adequate customer service. These people blew me off for weeks and did so in an incredibly rude fashion. No one deserves to be treated that way. I hope to reach an owner or manager soon to discuss the issue.Read Less

I specifically chose Grand Prix driving school (after comparing rates & services with other listed driving schools in NYC) because of the breadth of services it had, the regular schedules and it's professionalism. - They were the school with the best and most consistent 5 hour class schedules. - They have a whole variety of classes for you to choose from.- They quickly called back regarding my schedule for driving test- Driving instructor Perry was extremely helpful and challenging to make sure I passed the test with flying colors.- Staff and managers are all very super helpful and accommodating.Just as a side note, the other schools I checked either had unhelpful staff members, unpredictable class schedules and higher rates. Grand Prix was by far the better choice amongst all the schools in NYC. Read Less
