Can I give this place 0 Stars? A lot less? I wish I could.It is 16 years later since I went through this school and I still don't have my license.Why?The theory class part - the instructor liked to pick on me for sexist examples such as - she is waiting for her bf on a curb etc. Over and over I was the main example. While awkward, I aced that part of the class. Cheesy useless videos and comments on my behalf. He probably picked on a lot of us, but that doesn't mean it was acceptable. On tests he spoon fed us answers.The worst, and the reason I'm writing this review almost 2 decades later: The pervert behind the wheel instructor who (A) offered to be my grandaddy and put his hands on me (B) offered me cookies (C) yelled at me for "almost getting us killed because my parents did not teach me how to drive." Guess what? You are the driving instructor! That's your job! You work in an affluent neighborhood where most parents teach their children to drive, how about you adjust and actually help the few children that need to learn to drive. It's not that often, just just do your job!The few hours behind the wheel I had to complete I dreaded. I didn't want to go back and the only reason I did was to get a certificate which was useless since I never went to take my driving test. I never felt comfortable getting since I never learned anything. I'm still traumatized by it. I hope any girls or guys who are put in this situation speak up. They should speak up to their parents and to the school. I should have reported him for his behavior and I wish my parents didn't waste their hard earned money for this experience.

I called this place 4 times and they never called back. You ll do best not to waste your time with this company. There are better driving schools that actually care about having paying customers.

I took my classes there. The instructors are nice and flexible for hours. The bad thing is that it is expensive. I called to schedule a driving road test with their car and it’s 350$!! Omg!! Like the one in Rockville pike Cyrus driving school charges only 130$. I mean damn it’s more than half. My people don’t get fooled and waste your money. I took the classes there and wanted discount they refused.

I thought the driving school was great! My teacher was Mr. Roland. He taught the material well, had good tips for real world driving, and made the class pretty bearable which you can't say for most places. For my in-cars, I had Mr. Bartrum. I don't get why some were saying they didn't like him. For me, he was really pleasant to talk to and was quite patient. He's lead a very interesting life and makes for a great driving instructor!

However, Mr.Charles, one of the driving instructors, has THE WORST attitude and will barely teach you anything. If you are looking to actually learn and have a pleasant experience, do not have him be your teacher. All he does is sit next to you while he is on his phone, calling his friends or watching videos. He also made me wait for him while he got food at McDonalds, which is a waste of time that I am PAYING for. When I tried to ask him a question about hitting the curb, he made fun of me saying I ask dumb questions. He refuses to answer any questions and will instead mock you for asking. Talking to him is difficult and his attitude is unprofessional. He does not actually want to help you at all, and is very unpleasant. He should be fired! Do not go here.

The in class portion is tolerable. You will learn what you need.The in car portion is horrible. One of the driving instructors, Mr. Charles, has a horrible attitude and is unprofessional. He does not teach at all and he is on his phone the entire time. He has the radio on the entire time and never tells you if you are doing well or not. If you dont recieve feedback you wont improve. When you try to ask him questions, he never answers it and instead gives super snarky responses about how dumb your question is. He also makes you wait while he gets lunch, taking away from time that you are PAYING for. Having him as an instructor lowers the quality of the entire driving school. He is disrespectful and should be replaced. In cars are important for passing the driving test but he will make your experience negative.

My daughter had a great experience with this driving school. The class training was well done and the in-car training was excellent. We cannot say enough good things about Mr. Bartrum. He was an excellent driving instructor and it shows... as my daughter passed her driving test on the first try. Very happy with Potomac Driving School. It is very reasonably price also.

My experience at the Potomac Driving School was everything I could have wanted it to be and more. My instructor, Mr. Roland, was so funny and knowledgeable. He was very thorough when explaining topics and always open to students asking questions. When i was done i knew all the essentials for driving and the MVA exam. I would rate it 5 stars.

Do not go to this school. Driving instructors do not do what they are suppose to do. For the test they are suppose to teach parallel parking and rear 2 way point turnabout. They only teach parallel parking and nothing else. When you call them back and complain they are saying that you are lying and that instructor is always right. Do not go there.

My instructor (who is also the manager of the business) made comments towards the girls that I found to be very derogatory and inappropriate. He would consistently let us out of class 30 minutes early...
My instructor (who is also the manager of the business) made comments towards the girls that I found to be very derogatory and inappropriate. He would consistently let us out of class 30 minutes early, skipped over a unit, and spent a lot of the class time speaking with various students in their native languages, and when we did watch the videos, he fast forwarded through them 70% of the time. The office staff is also very rude, and will go out of their way to NOT help you. When my class ended, the instructor (also the manager) told me to go to the office to schedule my in-car sessions; the lady in the office told me that they were not allowed to schedule in-car sessions until August 1st and that I needed to call back (mind you, this was the second week of June). I tried calling back during business hours, and the lady that answered the phone did not even give me the chance to finish my sentence; she told me that I needed to call back during business hours to schedule my in-car session (this was at 2pm in the afternoon- they are scheduled to be open until 6pm). The only reason that I took my driving classes there was because my I Drive Smart driving certificate had expired, and Potomac Driving School was the cheapest in the area. Thankfully I had already taken driver's ed, otherwise I would not have learned the laws of the roads properly.

I thought the driving school was great! My teacher was Mr. Roland. He taught the material well, had good tips for real world driving, and made the class pretty bearable which you can't say for most places. For my in-cars, I had Mr. Bartrum. My daughter had a great experience with this driving school. The class training was well done and the in-car training was excellent. We cannot say enough good things about Mr. Bartrum. He was an excellent driving instructor and it shows... as my daughter passed her driving test on the first try. Very happy with Potomac Driving School. It is very reasonably price also.

My experience at the Potomac Driving School was everything I could have wanted it to be and more. My instructor, Mr. Roland, was so funny and knowledgeable. He was very thorough when explaining topics and always open to students asking questions. When i was done i knew all the essentials for driving and the MVA exam. I would rate it 5 stars.

They only teach parallel parking and nothing else. When you call them back and complain they are saying that you are lying and that instructor is always right. Do not go there.

He would consistently let us out of class 30 minutes early, skipped over a unit, and spent a lot of the class time speaking with various students in their native languages, and when we did watch the videos, he fast forwarded through them 70% of the time.
