Ms. Edmond is rude and unprofessional. She tells you the first day of class that she loves her job when in reality she hates it. I received her as my driving instructor, and I cannot believe how rude she was. She didn't even greet me when I got into the car. She had a rude monotone voice throughout the whole session, making the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. I hated being in the same car as her so much that I was seconds way from getting out of the car to walk home. She treats her customers like we're all high school students. It seems that respect isn't in her vocabulary. Ms.Edmond needs to go back to school herself so she can learn basic manners. Ms. Edmond yelled and acted out her frustration while in the car with me, revealing her unprofessionalism and true personality. when she closed the door to get in the car, she slammed it hard to show how much she didn't want to be there. Like hello?? Its your job. I met her husband and the lady at the desk and they were both nice and respectful, so it's clear that the real problem here is the owner, Ms. Edmond. I'm sure that people have confronted her about her attitude problem, but being her narcissistic-self, she won't listen. I regret ever atteneding this driving school and giving her the money to continue this "business" of hers. Here's some advice: pull the stick out of your ass, pull your big girl pants up, be the adult that you are and do your job (that WE pay you to do) with honor and respect. Thanks ^-^ Read Less

My teenage son attended the class early fall 2016. Ms. McDuffy and the staff was very professional and detailed oriented. Ms. McDuffy took the time to explain the class, hours and what's expected of my son attending. The classes were very formal and informative. The study habits and guidelines were outline prior to class daily. The environment was very clean, maintained and friendly. My son was always welcomed with open arms. My son struggled with reverse parking so Mr Gaines took the time out to assist my son on a Saturday (not a normal day of class) to help him with his reverse parking. The class hours were very beneficial for those working families that are not your regular 9-5. My son was provided the knowledge and skills to pass his drivers test on November 21, 2016. I highly recommend NuWay Driving. Mr Gaines and staff thank you very much! A pleased customer Read Less

My driving school experience here was pretty straight forward. The teachers were friendly & patient with students to make sure they succeeded in the program. I had Mr. Caylor as my classroom instructor & he communicated what we should expect as students at this establishment, what we needed to do to avoid any delay in the program, as well as the rules of the road. I had Mrs. Edmond as my driving instructor & she was very patient with me even though I had very little driving experience. She communicated with me what I needed to work on & gave me tips before my next appointments. Needless to say, the program is smooth sailing & at a great price. Read Less

If I could give this lower than a one star I would. The owner, Mrs. Anita Edmonds is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I believe because she has taught so many high school aged kids over the years that she has unrecognizably adapted a condescending tone when addressing minors AND adults. The little time that I was there before I asked for a refund of my money, she had a series of incidents that exhibited her unprofessionalism. For example, stopping class time to tend to her misbehaving child that continuously ran in and out of the classroom during lecture time. When anyone in the classroom addressed with her their concerns about her rude tone of voice she IMMEDIATELY went into defense and proceeded to act like the high school aged girls that she teaches. I would NEVER recommend anyone to spend their hard earned coins at this establishment because you will only end up disappointed that you didn't go elsewhere.Read Less

The complete lack of professionalism, tact, and courtesy that the owner Ms. Edmonds holds for customers is deplorable. Rude does not begin to cover the utter lack of respect she has for people who give her money to receive a service, and the condescending and disgusting manner in which she chooses to resolve conflict. If you leave a complaint detailing “an inconsistent lack of communication needed to complete the driving education program” she will within hours call you back to berate you like a child, and not a paying customer or human. Instead of earnestly seeking to understand that ‘inconsistency’ is not a fatal flaw to a business and communication is a 2-way street where both parties may not understand what the other intends, Ms. Edmonds will chose to get loud, nasty, and speak to you without emotional competency. When not understanding that some parents may believe driving schools these days still teach students how to physically maneuver a car, Ms. Edmonds chose to retort “the same way a kindergarten will teach you how to walk, or the same way a high school will teach you how to speak, right?” Unfortunately, choosing this business has brought more emotional distress and confusion about the Maryland state requirements to obtain a driver’s license than necessary. Do NOT go to this driving school if you wish to see hundreds of dollars and time being respected. Do NOT go to this driving school if you hope to be spoken to by the owners with courtesy. And most importantly do NOT go to this driving school if you wish to obtain a Maryland driver’s license in a timely and efficient manner. You’ll waste 3 years of you time and end up paying another driving school to complete the job. Read Less
