My daughter attended the required 30-plus hours of classroom education, with perfect attendance.  Attendance is very important because it is required by the state of Maryland..However, Easy Method Driving School LOST her attendance record and now they are telling me she has to spend another 30 hours in the classroom if she wants to get her license.Easy Method's instructor apparently lost the required paperwork and the school administrators tried to blame my daughter, saying she should have kept her carbon copy.  But no one told her that  there was even a chance that her entire record would get lost and she would lose all her 30 hours of time invested.Most records are digital these days.  The idea that paperwork can get lost is preposterous and outrageous!!it was clearly Easy Method at fault. The school offered a partial refund but even so, I am very unhappy with this school!!. Read Less

Great experience! Pleasant and informative staff, easy to schedule classes and professional instructors! I had Michael Favors and was very impressed: he was a very steady and understanding instructor, he taught in a calm and easy to understand manner and was reassuring and encouraging when needed. Great school, mr Levy was awesome I had so much fun with him , he made sure if anybody in his class had any questions or felt like they didn't understand anything , he was explaining it to us, that's what I like about the class . He made driving school fun so I was very excited to go everyday , when I sign up for my driving on the road I m definitely going to request him  . The school answered all my questions and were knowageable for the best and fastest way for me to get my license. Since I am a beginner I was very nervous and little scared about driving. I was picked up at work for the in car lesson and instructor arrived on time and was polite and opened my door for me. The lesson went by faster then I thought it would. Once I got comfortable the time just flew by. Easy Method also took me for the MVA test in the same car I had my lessons in. I also took an extra hour on the day of my test. I passed on the first try and my whole family was surprised and happy for me. They really made it easy. Read Less

Do we have to enter a star? They don't deserve one.This past year, our high school added a second driving school option. I'm not surprised and I wish I had waited until there was this second choice.This school has the absolute worst record keeping method. It apparently files students by the LAST driving lesson. Yes, instead of filling by last name, birthdate, school, address, things that rarely change over two years, they file by the ONE thing that does change!! When my daughter went to take her driving test, her certificate was NOT on file despite the fact it's been over six months since her last road lesson. When I called, the woman admonished me for not remembering the date of the last road lesson. Then she asked if I was sure my child took lessons with the school. Trust me, I wish she hadn't.The sheer incompetence of the administration coupled with their rudeness screams DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL. Read Less

Tania another rep. was more than helpful with questions I had re: their services. Other than this issue, the school has been very accommodating with scheduling driving time with my son. Oh my goodness, I'm so glad someone told me to leave a review here. Much like Shelly B., my son's behind-the-wheel lessons were rescheduled with little notice. Once rescheduled, they failed to pick him up from school (completely didn't show up) and when I called to find out what was going on, they yelled at me and said I should keep better records. Now I need to cancel a behind-the-wheel lesson because school was closed, and they want to charge me a $30 fee. They explained that's their policy. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this school, and I plan to inform the Old Mill High School PTA of how poor the service has been through this school. Read Less

They are a horrible company. The class room was bad enough but we moved to another county in Maryland and trying to schedule the driving portion is beyond belief....we have to drive to them and the appts have to be a month in between. The rep who answers the phone is very rude and I would tell anyone to stay as far away from EM as  you can. Horrible compnay. Read Less

Yes, it's true - at nearly 42 years of age, I am unable to drive.  So, I'm in the process of rectifying that little mistake, and I chose Easy Method partially because others in my family have, and because it supposedly has a good reputation, it's been in the community for years, etc.Although, with the non-service I received, I don't see how that's possible.I paid 440 dollars for a course that was supposed to start on August 10.  It wasn't until the afternoon of August 8th that I was told that the class was canceled.  No explanation, no offer for another weekend course, nothing.  I work during the day and I'm in grad school - so Saturday is the only option open to me.  I politely asked for a refund, and they said no problem.Until I had to call my credit card company to force a chargeback.  I'd say that's a problem.  You can't ever get a hold of anyone on the phone.  An answering service always picks up and invites you to leave a message - although if you leave your phone number they'll never return your call.  I called multiple times over a course of 2 months asking them for my money back.  The first time I was told "give it 30 days".  Well, as far as I know, 30 days doesn't equal 2 months.  And they never DID process the refund - my credit card company dispute did.  Don't be fooled by this place's promises of good service, long-standing record in the community, blah blah.  Bottom line is - they cancel classes with no reason, they won't accommodate schedules, and they like to keep your money.'nuff said.
