General Info
Before you hit the road ways of Louisiana, you must complete the state prelicensing requirements. Founded in January 2000 by owners Ron and Cathy Hernandez, R & C Driving School and its qualified and certified staff are ready to meet all of your driver training needs. When you come to our classes, you'll be treated like family. We offer 14 hour, 38 hour, DWI classes and National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course (4 hour).

I normally do not write reviews but I feel compelled to tell my experience with this driving school. I received positive feedback from other parents, so I opted to send my child to R & C Driving School. What a mistake I made!!! I regret it so terribly. I wasted not only my money but the overall initial experience that I wanted my child to have. My child went through this driving school during the summer of 2016. She had a nightmare experience with the female driving instructo...r (from California). She was badgered & humiliated while undergoing her driving instruction by this woman (while driving). I called @ reported it to Mrs Cathy. I asked for additional driving instruction by a different person, but nothing was done about it. I ended up brushing it off to the end because my daughter didn’t want retaliation from the instructor. She ended up earning her driving permit & I took over trying to coach her for the past 1 & 1/2 years. She’s still scarred by her experience & has not overcome it. She’s now of age to advance to a permanent license & I’m petrified of going through with it. She’s not ready & I paid $380 for nothing!! I just wanted to share my story so another parent & student will not have to experience the horrible ordeal that we went through. I HIGHLY do not recommend this driving school. My son learn alot from this driving school . Thanks to the respectful owners for having everything in order they are very nice and friendly and they make 100% sure you have all the training that you will need . And not to mention the wonderful driving instructor. And thanks to Ms . Monica for being firm but patient with my son and other student drivers . You are the best ! Ty and God Bless!!!!

The teachers are amazing. They made they made the class fun while learning. The driving instructor was very patient and really down to earth. I would recommend anyone to go there.
