My daughter had a great experience with Buggin and Cruisin. She was taught a safer way to drive. She was taught how to make proper lane changes, parallel parking, safe highway driving, parking between cars etc. He was very patient and professional. I have no idea what jodad is talking about. Avoid Buggin and Cruisin. My Child has just completed the course and it was horrible. The money we spent on the class had just well been lit on fire. Very very few new items were taught in the classsroom or on the drives. The owner talks a big game but the class and driving are much different than we were led to believe. After 5 drives the farthest out child drove was 4 miles from our house. Scheduling drives is a total hassel. At the time of sign up we were told those problems were behind them.....BS..... Having to get up the kids up at 6 and 7 AM on Monday to schedule drives was horrible. Buggin and Crusing even cancled drives the night before. Several months ago I started asking around about people's experiences with driving schools. I wanted to know if they are beneficial or if people prefer the ol'Dad method of teaching kids to drive. The opinions split - some people were praising the schools, others were satisfied with their parents teaching them. With my polling efforts producing inconclusive results, I took my daughter to the nearby parking lots, but I always felt that maybe I am not going over some important techniques, helpful hints and tips and the look of terror in my eyes is not helping her confidence. So in a rare move I actually paid money for something I could otherwise get for free.In the end, I am very satisfied and I feel like they did a lot better job than I ever could. I looked around several schools on the Kansas side, they were close price-wise, one school had many negative reviews, so I picked the one closest to us (it had since moved, check website). Buggin and Cruisin had some complaints about people having hard time scheduling classes. I called the owner and he assured me that he limited the number of students to prevent the scheduling issues from ever happening again. This turned out to be true and we had no problem picking a class that worked for us. During winter break the classes were scheduled on weekdays, and when the school is in session they have evening and Sunday drives. As a result it took my daughter less than 3 weeks to finish the course at a leisurely pace when it was convenient for us. I feel like she got a great base, and all the things I was sure to gloss over were pointed out and introduced to her. So the pro's are: comprehensive driver's edpunctuality-my daughter was always picked up perfectly on timeconfidence in my daughter's drivingthey taught her skills I am not that good at -like parallel parkingI didn't die from a heart attackshe won't have to take a driving testinsurance discountcon's:there is only one - she now reprimands me when I do something wrong.Overall - money well spent. We had a great experience with this driving school, and will recommend it to all of our friends. The classroom experience was fun, and my chld learned so much from the individual driving lessons. We were thrilled that they did not have to ride along with other students, when they took their behind the wheel instruction as some other local programs do. We absoultely had no problem scheduling our drives in a timely manner. Overall, we have been more than pleased with Buggin and Cruising Driving School. Read Less

You pay over $400 for a private driving school, thinking that it will be more convenient that waiting for drivers ed at school. CHECK UP FRONT WHEN YOUR KIDS WILL ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO DRIVE and to complete the course.. They told us, no problem, you'll easily be able to schedule drives. My child finished in Sept too and each week is always full. They say, oh, it's easy, go on the website on Sunday night and sign up!. So YOU have to sit by your computer and wait until they post. If you miss the date- oh, sorry, wait until next week. They don't tell you during the classroom part that it will take FOREVER to schedule drives. They say, expect 4-6 weeks. Why don't they figure out a way to have more drivers? They say go to the website, we told you what to do. But they NEVER say, this is how long it takes. They really don't care because they get your money up front and YOU""RE STUCK. Ask every driving school for recent references and ask those parents how long it takes to schedule drives. This is awful. You have to be the one waiting by your computer- and you paid for the privilege. Read Less

My daughter completed her classroom on Sept 12 and we have yet to complete the driving portion with only 1 drive completed. GO ELSEWHERE. We never had an issue with 2 other children at two other driving schools. Avoid this one. Read Less

My daughter took the classroom portion several weeks ago but has been unable to sign up for any driving instruction yet.. I've had other children go through other local schools and they were done in this amount of time. There are other, better options for you. I'm very disappointed with this school. Read Less
