Getting your CDL is not easy, it's strict, and you need to know your material BEFORE you take the test. PERIOD. Listen, I have been to several testing sites including ProSafe up in Indy, so I feel I am qualified to chime in on a review here because I had to take the test 4 times before I finally passed. I think it's important to give this review, and I will explain why. When you study for a CDL examine, you need to take it very seriously, its tuff man, honestly it is, and you have to understand the employees there thoroughly doing their job, they have to be being Federally Regulated. Keep that in your mind. Expect to fail the first time if you are not fully prepared, and indeed this is good so you can get discovery!! They have all kinds of Regulated testing sites, and those places are busy, so if you fail, you MIGHT get back in to retest one month later. Therein lies the problem. You cant reschedule and wait a month and cram for a few days and expect results, really that's the way it is being scheduled at ProSafe. You need a testing site that is less congested, A1 CDL Testing in Mitchell, IN got me in within a few weeks. My wife took the test too and she got right in, and failed but it was her own fault. Nevertheless she got back in quickly while the information was still on the top of the mind. That is a really big deal, and until you have taken the test and understood all the requirements, then you couldn't possibly understand and its so easy to forget things with so much time that passes. That is a big plus here with A-1 CDL Testing in Mitchell. Now, about the staff. The staff at A-1 CDL testing in Mitchell are stern but not so much so that you feel isolated and like they are out to get your money, or pull a fast one on you like talking to you while you are driving. Pro-safe up in Indy, they did that to me and talked my leg off then failed me and I was seriously upset. It took me four times to pass, and a lot of this could have been avoided if I could have just got back in again, quickly. My permit expired and everything, I had to go back and take all the written tests over. That's when you get bummed out. Don't go to a congested CDL testing site if at all possible! All I can tell you is the staff is down to earth also.... YES GOOD PEOPLE but if you fail, trust me, they will say to you why, and let you know. In closing I honestly feel those 2 things sets them apart; for me anyway. Get in and back in if you fail quickly while you still retain everything plus they have excellent, knowledgeable staff that makes you feel comfortable while taking the test, unlike others where you get the impression they are out to flunk you just to get you to come back. A-1 CDL Testing, you get 5 stars from me for being professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you! My son is 19 years of age and he is coming soon to get his CDL as well, and I know, if he does everything right, he will have no problem getting his CDL License From A-1 CDL Testing in Mitchel. I have my CDL, and it feels good after all that! Good luck to you all, you are going to need it, but if you take my advice you will save yourself some pain.
