I needed a refresher on how to drive on faster roads, like highways and such, so I wasn't looking for a driving lesson and the usual mean driving instructor as I'm a young adult who's been driving for years and not some high shooler learning to drive. We explained this to the woman who owns the place, teaches, and gives the driving lessons. We got into her car and she seemed nice at first, I don't think it was even a minute before she first snapped at me. We paid her to help me re-familiarize myself w/ the highways, instead all I got was a hour long waste of time mean driving lesson because apparently I wasn't good at making slow turns and just garbage driving instructions that as we drive more and more we just don't do anymore, like driving 20 on side streets, going exactly 25, breaking half a block away from the stop, and signalling 3/4 of a block away from the turn. I know for a fact that I'm a good driver, as not only have I never been in an accident I've never gotten a ticket, and I went on a drive later w/ someone and they said I was a great driver, so it was just her. She mentioned (during the only about 1 min. general meet and greet talk that she was actually nice) that she owned the gym next door and that she had to close it, and I wonder why, maybe that it was the size of a regular store, or maybe it was just her? I do know that I'm not at all surprised as she seems to have no idea on how to run a business and provide a service for money that we give her to provide the service that we ask for. Not only that we didn't get what we paid for, she was also unnecessarily mean, she even acknowledged it too, that's what's worse, even though you realize it you really can't change your attitude, really? I don't recommend this if you're trying to get a refresher, I think she would be like any other driving instructor if you're signing up someone who is a new driver though. I still don't recommend hiring her if you're getting driving lessons though, good example was her telling me to "go ahead" when I hadn't even fully stopped at the stop sign yet, also, DO NOT support mean driving instructors, there's no need for it, it's unnecessary and just plain rude and mean. You can learn driving fine w/ a regular school teacher. She does give refunds, the only 5 stars I'll give this "academy". Read Less
