The one word that I can use to describe my experience with 1 ACT is "integrity." I was enrolled with a competitor and was in a continuous class reschedule loop. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed until I located 1 ACT via a google search. I called and spoke with Ash who was very personable and provided a great deal of helpful information. After speaking with him, I was completely sold and transferred my information over to him within minutes. To say the least, I was in his class within days. This was a great decision and a good experience. He and his entire staff were extremely personable. I highly recommend them and will say you will be pleased with your experience as well. I had to take my Risk Reduction class here!! So after I did a review of all local programs I've come to the conclusion that this was going to be the best and boy was I correct.. Ash is a very great person a honest joy to be around kind of lift your spirits up just a happy person! David is the instructor he is a really easy going guy! I have never experienced a DUI before Nor do I hope I ever do again But, this was a lovely experience. Staff is wonderful. Monica, Ash, Taresa- were all very accommodating and informative. I am in the restaurant industry so paying $355 and missing out on weekend money would've sucked 1Act offers weekday classes, which, nobody else does. There is fresh coffee in the mornings and long horn lunch was provided as well as adequate breaks. Facility is very clean and conveniently located. I have to say that this is really the best and #1 DUI school throughout the metro Atlanta area. I was looking all over other DUI schools but they are no where compared to 1st Act DUI school, which the environment is crisp, clean and friendly. All the learning materials were very well explained accurately through details shown on video as well as lectures and they even bought us lunch from Longhorns which is the best part ever. I want to give a shout out to the instructor, David who is very knowledgeable, lenient and informative. Also another shout out to the owner Ash Hodge, who made sure all the students were well taken care of throughout the three days in class. There are many reasons why I would recommend 1 Act DUI and defensive driving school. First off there was an easy registration process, also the staff and environment was friendly and welcoming, plus the instructor was knowledgeable and kept you engaged. The main reason for this recommendation is because I have a New York State drivers license and I was having a problem with getting my paperwork to Georgia DDS for reinstatement of my license because they only accept original documents "no third party faxes" and 1 Act director personally assisted me with everything that I needed with no hassle. The was far most the best experience I could of hoped for I went in thinking this is going to be one of those judgemental, finger pointing type classes but it wasn't. We was never made to share anything that we might feel bad about never told that we were bad just bad choices which was very true. David was very easy to converse with and explained things throughly. Ash was very helpful and gave good information on helping get points off your license through a class they offer which is a better rate than any of the oher schools. I recently completed the risk reduction course and my experience was awesome for a state-mandated course. Ash is a very nice, understanding, POSITIVE director and the instructor Chris made the course material easy to understand. Giving up a whole weekend for a mandated dui class definitely sits last on my to do list. This place, however, made it more than bearable. The staff itself is extremely accommodating to your needs. The owner is super nice and will go out of his way to make your inconvenience tolerable if not pleasant; he understands the mind set that the students walk in with. I thought as I walked in the weekend would last for an eternity, but, with the: amount of breaks, long lunch period (long horns on them if you so desire), quality and informative teaching, clean environment, the multitude of snacks and drinks (from veggie and fruit platters, assorted chips, candy, to coffee, soda, and hot chocolate), and the ability to get up and stretch your legs when you need to it made for a rewarding experience. Great class - well as good as Dui class can be. Has free wi-fi and free lunch they bring in to you (you pick from longhorn's menu) and you get an hour for lunch - and there are lots of nearby places to shop on Roswell Rd during you lunch break!
