My 16 yo son took the course with Curtis who was fantastic!! He taught him how to drive essentially in 6 weeks and my son loved his time with him. They talked about music and video games and they really hit it off. He passed the driving test with almost a perfect score. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny!!

I just talked to Jennifer at Autosafety Driving School. She gave me a rapid sales pitch. It all sounded good. But when I questioned, it all fell apart. She said they are "licensed" by the State of Flo...
I just talked to Jennifer at Autosafety Driving School. She gave me a rapid sales pitch. It all sounded good. But when I questioned, it all fell apart. She said they are "licensed" by the State of Florida to provide driving lessons. I asked for the license holder's license number so I could check at FL Dept Biz & Professional Regulation before I signed onto the program and put my daughter in their car. She became frustrated and then irate, yelling at me... they only give that information once my daughter is ready to drive and sitting in the car - that's when the customer can see a copy of the license (located in the car.) She said they are "insured" so I asked if I could get a Certificate of Insurance to verify insurance. She became extremely verbally agitated and said she was not the owner of the company and in all her experience no one has ever questioned their insurance. She hung up on me. Obviously, I won't be using them.

I highly recommend this driving school. As a father, who was teaching his son to drive. I thought I was doing a pretty good job and I originally wanted my son to sign up so I could get the insurance discount. However, I was really surprised at the things they taught him that I overlooked, because it's second nature to me and I was just assuming my son was already doing certain things. They were also better able to explain things so my son could understand. I never realized my son wasn't looking ahead properly while driving. I was under the assumption that he was since nothing really major happened while we were driving, but the instructor was able to notice that my son was only looking at the car ahead of him and not paying enough attention to cross traffic and traffic further down the road. He also noticed that my son wasn't properly using his feet when going from the gas pedal to the brake pedal. I always assumed he drove with his foot over the brake and would pivot to the gas pedal. I didn't realize he was moving his whole leg from the brake to the gas pedal, which is not only less safe, but was also the reason my son would kind of take off hard and brake hard at first. I didn't even think to look at my son's feet while he was driving. Besides the lessons themselves and what they taught my son. There was always someone there to answer the phone, they were always on time for all my sons scheduled appointments, and they were always very courteous. It's for those reasons that I say, that they exceeded my expectations.

My 16 yo son took the course with Curtis who was fantastic!! He taught him how to drive essentially in 6 weeks and my son loved his time with him. They talked about music and video games and they really hit it off. He passed the driving test with almost a perfect score. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny!!

I highly recommend this driving school. As a father, who was teaching his son to drive. I thought I was doing a pretty good job and I originally wanted my son to sign up so I could get the insurance discount. However, I was really surprised at the things they taught him that I overlooked, because it's second nature to me and I was just assuming my son was already doing certain things.
