The guy James maybe an experienced tutor and knows how to drive, but he has NO peoples skills whatsoever. One rude, arrogant and hateful human-being. I am an adult who had successfully passed the knowledge test at the DMV and had her foreign license converted. What I needed was a few hours of driving to get more confident/comfortable on US roads (and I do have driving experience abroad). A friend of a friend had shared his contacts and I reached out to him, which I regret up to date.  So what is marketed as an "international" driving school, turned out to be a tutor who bullies non-american clients with remarks such as "..well, you can do whatever you want in the country you come from, but here you'll do this and that..", or to my comment of having driving experience abroad he'd say "..you may think you can, but I'll see what is that that you call driving...". When I told him I had 4 hr of driving with another tutor here in DC who was quite happy with my skills and told any other person at my place (with same level of skills and a license) would just go ahead and drive around whereas I was just being an overly careful driver, James made faces and threw put-down remarks, which I figured was his trick to generate business by making me look incapable, i.e. a clear case of a supplier inducing the demand.   My narrative here might not translate the whole bulling, mocking and insulting experience I've had with this person, but his attitude was absolutely unacceptable. I am a serious professional adult in mid 30s, but was treated as a teenager! There were cases when he would emotionally press me to repeat out loud his tutoring on the signs! I had to remind him I passed the knowledge test and all I needed was a few hours of driving, especially on a highway, to which he responded he would decide what I should do and that was driving in residential areas learning the turns!..Eventually, I had to tell him to not treat me as a kid to which he got so furious as to stop navigating me in the unfamiliar to me area with no GPS in his car (it was dark, around 8:30 pm) and I had a near collision as a result.  I was planning to get 6 hr of lessons when I first called him, but after that first class I could not wait to be done. I wonder why a person with such a chauvinist attitude to internationals would set up an "international" school? I've been living in DC for over a decade and have never had such a racist experience. That experience had caused me a great emotional distress to the extent I had to see my GP. I seriously considered to file this case by presenting evidence of emotional trauma and health hazards he caused me.  Horrible experience. Never hire him, especially if you are an international. And the last, he has some very old car, with super high milage and cluttered with food and paper junk. During those two hours he kept nagging to be careful with his car to not do a particular shift otherwise I'll face the costs of repairing it.. Stay away of him. Read Less
