ok. so extreme deceptive advertising. ive taken this course and they advertise a discount upon completion. UNTRUE. i promise. 100% untrue. the ONLY company that will give a discount is liberty mutual. who next street happens to “work with” aka in bed together. I don’t care what anyone else says they will absolutely not give a discount from any other insurance company for completing this course. I called Next Street to confront them and get an answer and the best response i got was “ i’m sorry you feel that way” Save your money teach your own kid how to drive and stand in the DMV you will save yourself money and aggravation and you will absolutely not receive a discount on auto insurance Read Less

Kevin Wilson is by far the best teacher that anyone will ever have for a drivers ed teacher. He is very caring and will do anything that will make the students he is teaching to have the most successful they can be in order to achieve there driving capabilities!! I’m so glad I got the chance to be with Kevin and I would not trade him for any other teacher out there, he makes my driving life easier s also better understand. I had a great time taking the 30 hour class with Rachael at The Next Street Bristol. The course helped me prepare for driving in winter conditions by teaching me to not panic and hold onto the steering wheel firmly when skidding. I sat through an awful and boring course full of nothing but a teacher telling us her stories and her mistakes while showing us videos. They rewarded every student who gave a positive review. It has been a little more then a year since i took the course and thinking back it is in no way worth the money. I honestly learned more while driving with my parents and others who actually seemed to care about anything and who didn't nag me every time i went 2 mph over the limit. I only did one of the behind the wheel lessons and hated every minute of it, and I'm honestly glad I didn't go back. Took a manual shift lesson today with Pam, I believe her name was, not very good with names. We spent two hours driving. She was amazing. Very nice and made it really easy to understand how to drive standard. It was a nice atmosphere and not stressful . Had a lot of fun even when stalling and trying to figure out the clutch and gas. The hills were fun. I went through The Next Street (formerly known as All Star Driving) to take classes for my regular licenses in Hamden and service was great. Wonderful service in both places. So my son struggled with passing his road test because the examiner from the DMV obviously has a problem with god knows what and ran tests up to 30 minutes which was obviously very intimidating. The first time out he failed my son for not making a right quick enough and not looking long enough over his shoulder. The second time he just made a lot of mistakes because he had the same examiner who once again had him out for 30-35 mins??? Being like any mama bear I called and raised hell! Seeing that each time he failed we had to pay another $150. Spoke with Jeff Smith who went above and beyond. He scheduled a third exam, took time out of his day to take my son out for an evaluation prior to exam, and on test day made sure he would have a different examiner. Needless to say he passed and stated that the previous examiner's goal was to make sure he would never pass but the examiner he had on his third test was very nice and made him feel relaxed and confident and test was the standard 10-15 mins. He also stated that he knew he could drive especially after going out with Jeff who reinstated his confidence. Read Less
