My sister signed up with this school in August. They do not update their website, when you call there is no answer or the lady who answers is extremely rude. Therefore there's way to be sure when the classroom portion is available. Twice already my sister showed up based on the online schedule and there was NO class. One of those times there was a class but for Spanish speaking students only. Today my sister went to the class but no one was there even thought she called on Thursday and was told there would be a class today. They are extremely unorganized! I will say however the driving portion is good. It's easy to reach the driving instructor via text to set up a time to hit the road. He is polite and on time. I used Buffington's car for my road test at the DMV. The cost for the DMV mandated 2 hour class and the test was $305 (close to $150 lower than other driving schools!). The 2 hour class was helpful, primarily to get parallel parking and reverse parking dialed in. The instructor was extremely punctual and courteous. If you don't have a car you can borrow for the drive test, I would highly recommend Buffington's! Read Less

I thought this mandatory class was going to be so boring but i was surprised, the class was interesting, fun at times, it went by fast, the teachers do a good job at informing you of all the new laws, and how serious driving is. its worth the distance to travel from stamford to norwalk. Read Less

Unreliable is the best word for this school! Set up several lessons with the instructor. She cancelled one lesson about 10 minutes before it was supposed to start, then said she ""forgot"" about our second lesson! In addition, I have bad allergies and her car reeks of cigarette smoke. Arranged for 3 lessons, actually only had one with her - three strikes and you are out! Definitely don't waste your time on this school. May be a little cheaper than others but that is because the quality is so low. Read Less
