I just finished with the 3 day evening course today and I must say that it was by all means an amazing experience. I had no prior experience whatsoever riding a motorcycle when starting. I started out rough but with the great coaching from Trace by the end of the course I was much more comfortable and operating the bike a lot smoother. Jason, Trace and the rest of the staff at Full Throttle are incredibly helpful and have an abundance of knowledge from their own past experiences. I highly recommend anyone to take their course if you have the opportunity! I even had to reschedule my original class last minute due to work and they accommodated me with ease. I would have to say that the best part of the whole experience is their desire to make sure each person in the course leaves a more knowledgeable and safer motorcyclists. Just passed the written exam about 2 hours ago(9:30PM). I live in Denver, it was an hour commute over the last three days but it was highly worth the experience. Jason has an unbelievable amount of knowledge and wisdom. The classes aren't nearly as long as advertised(which is great). I decided to do the Thursday, Friday and Saturday class. I'm my own boss so I could make it work. Initially you're told it's going to last from 4:30PM to 11:00PM - this however wasn't the case for my class as we usually ended around 9:00PM(except for the written text day). If you live in Denver I'd suggest you leave two hours early - there is a good amount of construction on the way plus early rush hour traffic. The first two days were spent on the bike, learning the friction zone, turning at low speeds, high speed swerves, and tons of other necessary skills that could save your life. I didn't know much about motorcycles and had never been on one until taking this class. The instructors were very knowledgeable and open to questions. I was nervous at first but Wes made the process and learning easy to grasp. I plan on going back for more on and off road training!
