Do not take your teens to this place! The instructors are retired or fired ex policemen who use their experience to harras and intimidate instead of teaching and being patient. My underage 16 year old son had a horrible experience with his instructor Charlie. Charlie is an ex cop who treated my son like a criminal after my son could not answer one of his questions. His questions should have been directed to a parent or guardian not an underage teen. He asked my son regarding his completed driving hours. My son answered that he did not know the total amount; and began to explain that his driving time had consisted of him driving to and from school. Immediately Charlie interrupted my son and did not allow him to continue explaining that I (his mother) personally sit in the passenger seat with him every morning and allow him to drive to school and back home when I pick him up. Charlie assumed that my son was braking the law and began to scream, demean, and curse at my son. Charlie put my son's life in danger by making him operate a vehicle under the emotional and physical pressure of having a person of "authority" screaming in his ear the whole ride back. Charlie told my son that "Because people like him (my 16 year old son)our society is the way that it is" I did not pay $425.00 to have my son stereotyped, verbally abused, and then also be charged and additional $80 for the cancellation of the class. I have now enrolled my son with Mile High Driver Training, located on 1060 S. Rarritan St. I strongly recommend them! They are very professional, friendly, and ethical. Read Less

What a complete disaster.  Cannot reach the company at their parker location and the voicemail box is full.  Had to cancel a lesson because we were not able to get my daughter here due to car trouble.  When I called back at ANOTHER location and was told by the owner that the fee would be $80 because we didnt give 3 days notice.  Nice gentleman who took my daughter out driving chewed tobacco and spit in a bottle for 2 of her 2-hour drives.  Disgusting.  We asked if we could cancel our contract and just be done with each other, she said that we could, but she refused to refund ANY money.  Dorreen is the poorest excuse for a business owner I have ever dealt with.  She is unprofessional and her staff is rediculous.  The woman had to call me back at work 3 times to get my credit card number because she couldnt figure out how to get it to go through and told me my card was "declined." the western slope on Mississippi is a no Bueno. I don't know about the any other office but the one on Mississippi they are simply interested in your money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOINH THERE.. .. I filed a road test with them and pass the same road test at dmv in two days time. they failed me for no good reason and asked me to come again for 45.00 after I had paid 60.00. they are simply inhuman and not a good place to go close to. Full of amazing people, and they made sure not to overload us with information. John was amazing, with so many cool stories to help us understand the material. Mark was in for a day, and he also told us stories so we wouldn't be bored when learning some of the dreary stuff. Everybody was kind and accepting. DO NOT SEND YOU KID TO THIS DRIVE SCHOOL!!! The classroom is fine, but the behind the wheel instructors are a bunch of ex-police bullies. My son was in tears after the first lesson. When I requested a different instructor for his 2nd drive time we were told that would not be a problem, but when we showed up it was the same man. It was a repeat of the first lesson. My son came home a wreck! If we hadn't pre-paid, we would have gone somewhere else. The third lesson was a different teacher who was just as bad. He slapped my son's hands while he was driving!!! These men don't even act like they like teenagers! They should definitely not be teaching! Read Less

I remember wanting to do online driving school and my parents made me come here. And I'm so glad I did! Getting through the online in 4 or 5 days is impossible. Western Slope Driving Institute is amazing. Full of kind, caring and knowledgeable individuals. I had a bad experience at the local Mesa dmv and was hesitant to try my drivers test again. I made an appointment with Western Slope Driving Institute. Tom was patient, kinda and very direction specific. Even after my test Tom took the time to explain what I missed and helpful tips for the future. I most definitely will be taking all my kids there for classes and there tests. The people who work at this place are rude and inconsiderate. They act like they know your student and what is best for them. They DO NOT know what is best for MY child. Do NOT spend your money with them. It is not worth the money. My daughter said that in class they would work for 30 minutes and take a 20-30 minute break. Then they would work for 30 minutes and take another break. She felt they took more breaks than they worked! There are many other Driving schools in the area to choose from.
