Atom isn’t a great instructor, he makes you feel welcomed to the class. He’s very friendly and gets to know you on a personal level, not only does he do that but he makes you feel confident that you will pass the test. He let’s you know how to correct mistakes by helping you step by step, really good instructor in my opinion. On the other hand, there’s some instructors that don’t really care too much about you but rather your money. Some of the guys don’t pay too much attention as to what you are doing. I remember going out on a drive with one of them and while we were driving it was silent, dull, and it just felt like they were only there because they have to. I feel as if you are going to be an instructor, you must get to know the customer and make them feel welcomed, I didn’t get this vibe at all from anyone except atom. I highly recommend CDL College! My instructor, Atom, was very friendly and also hilarious. He made my course fun. I signed up for a two hour yard course, a road course, and the test. During the course we had to stop while some trucks were moved and Atom was very accommodating and let me train until I was comfortable with the backing maneuvers. I stayed well over an extra hour with no extra charge. The college is very flexible. I have rescheduled several times with no issue at all. They provide a ton of study materials and even have YouTube video guides showing the exact trucks you will test on. I have one more course before my test and I am looking forward to it very much. ok so I never went to your college. I live in Pittsburgh pa and I was doing a self study on the Class B with air breaks. The video Instructor Robert made for Class B Pre trip is great. I watched it many times and when I did my pre trip I aced it. I have never been in a 10 speed split shift transmission before and the video helped me pass my test. Amazing job you guys do. I just graduated from the Commerce City location. The positives, the instructors are top notch. Taught me very well. The negatives, I had job offers from Prime and Jim Palmer before I went. When I toured the campus, I was told the course was 160 hours of credit because, I assume because of the on-line course work. My certificate says 40 hours. Very few of the big companies will accept less than 160. I lost both job offers unless I want to start over. The only companies that I have found will hire from this school don't pay anywhere close to what Prime and Palmer offer. For the same $3500 you will get more opportunities at other schools. I would avoid this place if you want to get hired by the best starter companies. Read Less

Owners gave me a full refund due to errors in communication resulting in a huge hassle and headache. It was initially a very bad experience, but ended up with CDL College making things right. Eric is a good business man, making me feel very good about the situation in the end. When all is said and done, CDL College is a good place to train for your license.
